I have a 50 model 8n ford tractor. Still has 6v system. How do you hook up the amp gauge? Mine has no wires to it. I don't see any hanging. Could you help me with that? Thank you. How would you hook up the light on a 6v system. Front and back.
    I see all the conversion from 6v to 12 v. I'd like to keep mine 6v .

how did you get a socket on the front crankshaft...how did it fit through the axle hole?

I was using a homemade tool to turn it. Its a long 3/4 bolt with a 3/16 pin thru the end of it so it engages just like the hand crank.

What is the best method to get the head studs out of the block.

I use a stud pulling tool. You can get one at any good tool place, or just jamb 2 nuts together and turn them out with a wrench. Either works fine.
