Thank you for this video. My stubborn husband was trying to fit it while the seat was still in place. If it weren't for this video showing how to unclip the seat he'd have beaten up my car even MORE than he already has. I do wish he'd listen to me every now and again.... I might be a mere woman, but he should have learned by now that I am pretty good at this stuff!
I had no idea where to start with this. Found your video, bought the bracket from your link plus a t50 thingy, it arrived this morning and I had it fitted in half an hour. Hospital bag packed, baby seat locked in place, ready to go! Cheers!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I have a similar ford with no pre installed isofix. I thought I'd have to fork out a lot of money to book in with my local ford dealership to get this done. But after seeing your video it gave me (someone who's bad at diy) the confidence to do it myself. Your instructions were simple and clear and I have managed to install the isofix. Thanks.
The little lever you have to flip up (1:38) was totally jammed on one side of mine. I worked on it for about 20 minutes and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Gave up and tried the other side and it flipped up instantly. Thanks for the video!
Easy to follow video without explaining obvious stuff and dragging it out for too long. As others have said you will need to buy a Torx T50 separately - easiest place is on EBay or Amazon- picked up a set of bits for £7.

Good guide, very helpful! Just as a note for others, my socket set only had bits up to T45, but that still did the job (even though T50 is the correct size)

Thanks for sharing this. Received a car that says I should have ISOFIX already fitted. Come to realise I haven't. So if the dealer/seller doesn't resolve it. I will have to do this aswell. Great vid.

I was just about to give up. I have a 2009 ford focus zetec. Both halfords and the ford garage told me it wasn't compatible with ISOFIX - going to go order a bracket now!

Thanks man for a such a short and to the exact point video. :) have the same problem you had. Will try to fit it in 24 hours. I just need a T50 bit. Now max i have is t45, so i don't want to mess it up. Will find a proper bit soon and try to fit it on my Mk2 kombi :)

Installed without any problem, thanks for this guide.One question - you did not install that strange sticker which was also present in my isofix kit (2:05 left side). Any idea where this is supposed to be applied to ?

im gonna pretend i didnt see thisw, since i dont need it in my car , my brother can fit it to his though. good vid, i skipped this as a kid and started in backed booster seat till i was like 7 then a booster cushion till i was 10 or 11 then nothing since then

Is this ISOFIX Bracket universal for all cars (if they have the two holes)?
Th Theod Afaid I don’t officially know but I doubt it as was a specific Ford Focus figment.
