During the early 70's, I attended the annual festival and rodeo by the Mescalero Apache Tribe in Ruidoso New Mexico several times. It was quite an experience, well conducted, and filled with respect for Non-Apache attendees.

Bet I was always drawn to admire the Native American people ❤ little did I know my blood line tell I was. 20 years old my father told me the truth about my blood line .. I’m Cocopah Apache from my mother side … I love my people and I’m proud to be Native American 🙏❤. It’s make a BIG difference in my life and my children life to know who we are and honor our people 🙏❤️

I just can't understand : Native Americans carrying the USA flag. Proud of their ancestors I can understand. But proud of the people that overtook their land, decimated their people, drove them into reservats... 😳 I mean, over here in Europe children still learn that Christoffl Columbus discovered America. We all know that this is not true.

the Crow rez is still part of their original lands. they weren't as displaced as other tribes.
