This is a hard lesson for Ja. Always appreciate where you are and dont be so high and mighty believing you are untouchable. Just as fast as you rose, you can fall. Your antics costed you and your team much of the season and then you got injured, ending the whole season. You never know so dont squander opportunity with foolish behavior. Memphis never built around one player.. Memphis messed up this past year getting peer pressured into getting rid of dillon and shipping off tyus.. They never just built around ja.. They had plenty of players around him but they traded some and some are injured

He was suspended for the season but this was part of the plan. He might have needed the surgery last year and they came to this conclusion. Helps him with endorsements and optics. Silver has been very player friendly and let him keep his 2/3rds of this years bag despite his stupidity.
