I spent most of my summer school holidays at Blackpool in the 50s & 60s. It was a great place for me, happy memories. These days we live in South Devon and visit Blackpool Sands near Dartmouth, very different. John & Wendy 👍😎

Hi both love your videos. All ways so much fun and full of good information. We. Have a tow berth caravan similar to yours and thinking about a fixed bed. But we like the larger lounge area. We’ve had several vans with fixed beds & would definitely not go back to that layout. It takes a matter of minutes to make up & pack away the bed, not a problem at all. Hi Keith and Michele a great video as usual and great to see you both enjoy your day in Blackpool It’s a place which has many happy memories for me as I’m from a big family and every year my granny and auntie would book a coach and the whole family would go for the day just so special all of us having fun! Linke many seaside places it’s had hard times but they were trying hard the last time I went back The tower is a special place especially at the top and the ballroom and the circus is great! Love the north pier it’s the best of the three for me just love the old world charm! If you get a chance go and see the illuminations it’s very special and take the tram Up the lights! We enjoyed Blackpool last year. It’s unique and you are right, it’s not what it used to be. There are lots of references to the good old days but like a lot of the UK seaside resorts, Blackpool needs investment and TLC. Enjoyed your video, particularly from the top of the tower 😃👍🏻💙 Trev n Sue

Best thing about Blackpool is the world Matchplay darts are held in the Winter Gardens each year. Really didn't like our visit to Blackpool several years ago but I guess we're spoilt with seaside places as live in Devon. Enjoy your videos though and love seeing where you visit.

Our happy place is blackpool, although not been back for a couple years now. Whilst up at the top of the tower did you see the splat csi painting on the roof of the building below through the glass floor? lol a lovely place up at Lytham to visit is fairhaven lake. Nice cafe too there. It’s free to visit too.

I thought you’d morphed into Caravantastic ( Helen & Dave) when you were on the prom, it’s the tune they use. 😂😂😂 Been to Blackpool more times than I care to remember, we used to go every year for the lights when we were teenagers. Took our children and kept it going. My daughter was quite tall for her age and rode the Big One aged 7! We continue to be ride Monsters and have ridden coasters all over Europe, USA and of course UK.
