Good stuff 👏 i will trim my sidecharge chute like you said, it keeps clogging or chucking out lumps of grass so i tend to just hold the flap open with a bungee. Couldnt find your vid on upping the revs.
Yeh i use a bungee as well when tackling long grass, thats just down to the hole in the deck being quite small i think. Im abit behind with editing mate 😅 so the rpm vid will be out end of the week, prob on my second channel 👍
Ive got a 46 I've been thinking about trimming side discharge chute just been lifting it up with a bungee cord .. if only we could get a plastic box it. I've got a few niggles with mine but overall it's not a bad thing
Yeh the side discharge seems to be a bit of an after thought on these mowers, the hole is far too small really. Not bad machines though, a touch on the heavy side this model. 👍
Love the video. I have just got one of these mowers but it was missing the cable that controls rear drive, any chance please you could show me where the cable attaches onto the engine end? Thanks
The deck design is different so not sure how well it would work plus i dont think you can get a mulching blade to fit this model. The normal blade justs clogs the deck up.
In my experience no mower can do 4 in 1. It can bag averagely, it can't mulch well and leaves clumps everywhere, side discharge poorly as it clogs up. Buy a mulcher if you want a mulcher.
Thats why you buy different blades depending on situation, so high lift blade for bagging and side discharge, then use a mulching blade for mulching, fairly simple and easy to swap out. That's how i run a 4in1 mower anyway. Cant use 1 blade expecting great results allround 😅

Seen weibang mowers at my dealers last week look solid.a decent option for when honda stop production of petrol mowers👍
Think we are alright for a few more years with the hondas. The weibangs are not bad, built well but got some weight to it 😅👍

Good tips thanks! Just got one, what is the petrol to oil mix ratio? Not sure how many strokes is this engine..
Its a 4 stroke so no mixing required, Put oil in the engine then normal fuel in the fuel tank 👍
@@RJLgardens Thanks!
Hello mate, I don’t really understand why you can’t mulch and have a BBC? Couldn’t you just stick a mulching plug in?

Hi is this hi lift blade ok for model without bbc I have that model
No think you need a different blade as the mounting holes will likely be different
How easy is it to source parts for these?
Dont know havent needed anything yet 😅. Trying to find a high lift blade was abit of a pain though.
i always thought mower blades were always sold without an edge
Without a sharp edge you mean? some blades are better than others, but most come blunt.
@@RJLgardens yea, I was told that rotary mowers basically smash through grass rather than cutting it whare as a cylinder mower cuts like scissors.
bungee cord to keep the flap open
Yes i forgot to mention that tip, when cutting long grass. 👍
@@RJLgardens I saw another guy doing that on his channel
