If anyone was wondering, we got on the ride at 8:55 pm, 5 minutes before the park closed. The best time to go is during the fireworks. You can see the fireworks in the distance @6:50.
@@buddyr3 That’s a great question! It’s the first time anyone asked me about the lightsaber color so I don’t know if that’s some type of code or if they were just being engaging.
I was watching someone else’s video and noticed that too. There are still two major parts of the ride that aren’t working right. Did you spot them in this video?
@@GoodnersGoodAdventures The AT-AT cannons on the elevator didn't rotate like they're supposed to, and the laser cannons weren't swaying/bouncing with the shots. Also, the Kylo Ren animatronic was off.
It’s always epic when a top Disney ride has little or no crowd; really makes the experience more cinematic without being shoulder to shoulder with everyone. Nice footage 👍
I appreciate you leaving the full queue in this video! Because of MS I usually have to use the disability pass on theme park rides, so I don’t typically get the full experience. I have to say, this queue was a LOT longer than I thought it was!
@@MarbleCarnivalDude I'm not OP, but often it's just asking for it at the customer service place I can imagine that a doctor's note would make the process much easier in a big place like DW
It’s still busy during the day but not nearly as busy at the end of the day because everyone heads to the fireworks and Fantasmic shows after 8 pm. I’ve never seen it this empty before, though.
Spent almost an hour and a half in line not counting the two times the ride broke so almost 2 hours and change in August not so fun but the ride was great nonetheless
So...three main show action elements not working. Wild that they just don't have the resources to keep everything working, while the parks in Asia have everything working in tip-top shape, virtually without fail.
I totally agree. I was a little disappointed but still glad to experience it in a way I hadn’t before - empty and quiet. The fireworks in the background were cool too!
I agree. it’s not as exciting when some of the ride elements aren’t working, but being there when it is quiet, empty, and all you can hear are your own footsteps and the music made it feel more real.
@@GoodnersGoodAdventures not sure it seemed like the ride was running normally after the transport ship preshow. regardless it was sick getting to be the only people in the first two preshows
they change how many go into the preshow based on how backed up the post transport line is. if it was really full in there they end up sending really tiny preshow groups to avoid overloading the next section of the rudr
16:06 tell me you dont clean the floor without telling me you don't clean the floor yes I know the proper term is [waxing] the floor, but the point still stands, I don't think having noticible white lines on a reflective black floor was the intention
This just stupid. Had they invested the same effort to theme that very ride around the Empire with Darth Vader and Princess Leia being in place of that dim ray, that same ride would have to be extended due to the overwhelming number of people wanting to be a part of it
I would’ve loved that too! Luke Skywalker is my favorite character and would’ve loved to see it centered around him. I still like this ride though (especially when all the elements are working correctly). It had extremely long lines the first 4 years. It still gets very long waits on busy days.
I see the cannons still aren't firing, I mean geez they have only been broken for years. God Disney you are a cheap deplorable company anymore. Cannot even keep your rides up anymore, pretty pathetic! This and other reasons are why i am done with them until new leadership!
All themeparks in Florida have had safety instructions in both English and Spanish for literally decades, since safety speils have been implemented, has nothing to do with "political correctness"

I really love when nobody’s there…!!! Feel like the world is mine… love it…
Nice to see they fixed the early stages of the ride. 2 months ago you went through a back hallway and came out in front of the crowd of stormtroopers

@ exactly! I also think the cannons at the end used to move forward and make laser shot noise.
Yes I will do you what me to let me know
That was the single rider line
I can't believe the length of the queue route. Imagine waiting at the start of that line. Youd be there for hours
Yeah, it and Avatar Flight of Passage have really long queues. At least it’s mostly in the shade and sheltered from rain.
I stayed in line 3hrs to ride this a few years dears ago thankful my kid didn't have to us a restroom but the experience was priceless

The amount of anxiety I had to go through to secure a boarding pass when it opened to now just being able to walk on and have no wait…

So sad that so many elements are still not working after many years. They want us to pay extra to ride but the ride is not at its peak performance.
Spent almost an hour and a half in line not counting the two times the ride broke so almost 2 hours and change in August not so fun but the ride was great nonetheless
Looks like a “walk” more than a “ride”.
There definitely is some walking involved. The queue is part of the story plot and experience.
It was in back up mode so they used the screen instead of the animatronic

From a Fanta guy, aha
let alone see the ride path because the floor hasn't been waxed since the ride opened
last time i rode this for some reason they only put my family and one other group in the preshow even though the line was 30 minutes long.
Interesting! I wonder if that was because they had a scheduled maintenance break. 🤔

Maybe one day they will get the cannons working again
I hope they fix it as soon as possible this year.
They are so bad they can't fix them lol!

May force be with us lol really shouldn’t Rey line be may the force be with you all or all of you?
No line I just love it so much I didn't know
It's looks great and good to do you know what with out line it's ok with me I just love it so very much
Because we're ALL part of the mission
It's amazing how much of the attraction is not working. Disgraceful how far Disney has fallen.
It’s been open for 5 years and they haven’t taken time to make any repairs. They need to close it for a few weeks and fix everything.

animatronics of hovering droid, Finn, Kylo # 2 and the giant blasting guns ALL not working. Bad show.

This looks very BORING!!!!
Even empty without screaming kids this ride is boring as fuck.
The instructions talking in Spanish sure killed the vibe. We need to be politically correct even in a place where that doesn't exist.
