Thanks for this video, was missing some tactical inspirations in FM23. I have been using Vujevic’s tactic last year, he had 2 segundo volantes on attack instead of DMs on support back then. I was amazed by how many goals my teams score and how tight my defense was at the same time. This tactic got my Forest Green Rovers promoted to the Prem in the blitz. Wingbacks were absolute stars in this formation, providing assists in double digits and also scoring a few on their own.

I've found that when you have few available CBs and only one is good enough to feature regularly (I have three and one is injured and one is suspended for two games) a 3-2-3-2 works well. I just utilise one of my many centre-mids.
I made a tactic very similar to that last one with Ajax as my “I need goals now” tactic.
Judging by this, I might be able to use it full time against all but the best teams 🧐

Surprised to not see any variation of 4-3-3DM. I used to be attached to 4-2-3-1 but decided to use the DM, with Barnsley, and I'm hooked so I try to find tactics to fit that formation
In your real sociedad safe you had qualified with the 5th spot, it can be with the new system if the europa and championd league are won by lets say liverpool and city the pl will get 1 extra spot but the spanish league will also get 1 extra spot

I always do premier league saves, and always try to recreate liverpool tactic, after 150 hours of game i understand this. If you play gegenpress 433 or 451 dont do high higher tempo. They pass wrong all the time. Use a 433 fairly narrow fairly direct fairly low tempo, use work ball box and put all players individual instuctions to tackle harder and mark press. The key for the two central backs is to not tavkle harder and make th press marking lower. Ty

I’ve just got Sunderland up to the prem using a 4231 but rlly wanna try and switch up to a 433. I just can’t seem to get the formation working this year so would love to hear more about this!!

Gegenpress whipped Cross short passing low block and adventurous and free flowing football works a peach I use a 4 1 3 2
I do it with celtic had kyogo smash 63 goals
Then the next season Adam Hlozek hit 64

I used the final strat with Aston Villa and I can confirm even with loads of my players injured I still managed to come 4th

Great Video, but I gotta say as some of us watch that and use the tactics in previous Fms PLEASE slow down a bit. The player roles for example, even If I pause the video I cant make out some details such as when there is a "marks spesific position".

My point was: You don't cover some of the player instructions therefore it's impossible to copy the tactics other then downloading them. Which is not possible unless you I fm22. I can slow and pause as much as I want brother LMAO

I just might have made one of best fm tactics the other day , its 2 4 2 2 , in attack it becomes 0 4 3 3 , only works with great wing backs tho

Number 2 reminds me of how late 90s Manchester United used to play. Teddy Sheringham used to drop off into the Number 10 spot to feed balls through to Andy Cole or whoever his strike partner was.

Do these tactics work just as they should even if the players aren't familiar with them?
When simulating with a selected tactic, does having a good assistant make any difference?
having an assistant who can pick the highest ca players is really important

Found myself on this page, tactics not my thing, we gain and change our own, I've just lost sesko. Out and out goalscorer as alot of you will know. But nobody is bigger than the club. He's gone and now I'm trying to perfect a false 9 formation.

I wanted to ask if there is a chance that I can change the "Shadow Striker" role to an "Advanced playmaker" in the 4th tactic of "Swansalona"?
on the first tactic who are the 3 attacking players marking? it says mark specific player, is it the 2 cbs for your strikers and then the dm for your shadow striker?
Ok i got to ask, Can someone please for the love of god explain to me overlap instruction when you only got WBs and no wingers? Who are WB actually overlapping? There are also no wide midfielders (carilero, mezzala). I'm confused
The look for overlap instruction is misleading. You aren't telling people to overlap when you select it. You are telling people to look for the players who are overlapping and pass to them.
So essentially the wing backs will be overlapping regardless but with look for overlap on the attackers will play the ball to them much more often than without.

Anything decent for an underdog team? I’m Weymouth, now in League 1, and getting absolutely smashed every game. Desperately trying to stay up but nothing is working!

Depends what league, look around the league and compare your defenders to yours
None of these tactics will truly work if you're playing online or against other players. It might work well against the cpu tho.
