Well, Eagle Eyes, you made an impressive presentation! I agree, it would have been awesome to see the MG and the cannon inside!❤
i like to go out and explore. thank you from Eagle Eyes.
Excellent job EE! Clear, concise and informative! Glad you're doing better. Pneumonia is no fun. Thank you for sharing
Thank you from Eagle eyes
Thank you EE for sharing this place with us. It is a shame they are rusting away. Hope you're feeling back to 100% Keep smiling dear friend, your Dad too.
Eagle Eyes seems to be fully healed now from that awful ordeal and glad for that. He says thank you here on his way to school. We thanks YOU for YOUR incredible support and kindness. It is so appreciated and we hope you are doing fine and siling out there :)

Hello from Eagle Eyes and tahnk you
@ you welcome keep up the great work🙏🙏
It's great to see Eagle Eyes recovering!! He did a Great job showing us the tank turret mounts and the views!! Thank you!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Eagle Eyes excellent job. ❤
Thank you! 😊
When I was stationed in Germany in 1975 I was surprised to see German emplacements still in place. Overgrow but still there. Still bullet riddled walls. Our barracks were old German with nazi heads over the main entrances. On Sundays the cemetery and flower shops were very busy
I was stationed near Nurnburg in the mid 80s at an old luftwaffe base
Thank you from us.
Thank you EE for such a great presentation, and, for getting your feet wet to bring us those inside views of the Panzer turrets! Love all the close-up views! It really was quite stunning to see those turrets still in place after all this time, and barely touched by modern hands. Although it looks new, the welding around the front plate and on the top of the Panzer II turrets, where they have obviously added a large vision slit, was probably from the WW2 era, as the original front plates on the Panzer II Flamm, were bolted on, and had rounded corners, and these are square plates. So they modified old used turrets for a defensive role. The cylindrical thing on top of the Czech 38T turret is a 360 degree rotating periscope used by the tank commander. The 38T had very brittle armour, which is why it is cracked like that. It doesn't have enough "give" to withstand Mother Nature's extremes. It is a shame that the turrets are slowly rusting away inside, but, at least, they are still there for all to see, and remember, History. Thank you again EE for showing all these amazing relics. Glad you are feeling much, much, better! Cheers to both of you! Stay Strong!
We thank YOU for your kindness :)
Good job EE , going to be cool seeing you sharing the load. Great video guys !
Thank you from me Eagle Eyes.
Amazing job with this and filming as well eagles eye’s. Smooth and steady pace while panning the camera for us at home👌

Excellent job EE on a job well done on this video, showing the panzer turrets. Glad that you are feeling a lot better. You and your dad do a great job keeping the past alive.
Thanks 👍
Eagle Eyes, you did so good on that walk around, excellent!!! I hope to hear more of your finds, your as good as your dad out there. Hope you two go out detecting again soon, would love to see what you find. Can't wait to see you again soon, you both do an excellent job out there, 👍👍👍👍!!
Eagle eyes says thank you here on his way to school :)
Great presentation EE , Glad you are well enough to get out and start your journey in your fathers footsteps keeping that family tradition going ! Looking forward to more .
Much appreciated and we will share more soon. Be safe and keep smiling :)
Great show E E. You explained things so well and showed beautiful scenes that included the turrets. Hope you didn't get your feet wet and glad you're better 😊. You're the man. Thanks!
Thank you from Eagle Eyes. we will show more soon and thank you for being so kind. We say greetings from us.
Great to see this Eagle Eyes Special and those turrets. Hes certainly got a knack .. following in fathers footsteps and he dosen't mind getting his feet wet for his work !! Well Done EE ... Thankyou
Well said and thanks from us :)
Wow, EE is a natural as a story teller, he really does know his stuff. Thank you for making this and sharing this with us, buy some doughnuts 👍
hello this is eagle eyes. i love to explore and find things. thank you for being so kind. i will make more video later. Thank you and always smile.
Excellent job EE. Glad you are doing better. That was a beautiful sunrise and the silhouette of the other turret was amazing. Keep up your passion with history. Thank you for the tour. Have a great day and stay safe. 😊
Thank you kindly from us Allen and keep smiling :)
I wasn't expecting that! EE has improved substantially, possibly because its his show this time. Concise, emotive, enthusiastic and entertaining - can't ask for more than that, well done!
Fantastic job, EE. The first couple of turrets with plates welded on are field conversions from flame thrower to MG. Those are still shiny because they were stainless steel welds. The 38T that used to be a periscope. The boxes with the material bands held spare glass blocks for the windows. Great job. I think you covered the subject well. Stay safe and well.
Good to know and thanks for sharing with us. Greetings and be safe out there :)
WELL DONE EE!!! What a great walk about and explanations on the turrets. Loved seeing it all. Thanks for taking us.
Great job EE. I've been watching you guys for 2 yrs I think and it's amazing to see how you have grown. I hope you get rewarded in school for what you do here.
Thank you. i like to go out and explore. Will make more videos soon. Thank you.
Eagle Eyes - your presentation was fantastic. You're almost a pro, and I really enjoyed the fact that you pointed out the finer details of what remains of the turrets. The rubber gaskets, and the cloth still residing in the ports are incredibly interesting.
I'm so glad you're much on the mend from the pneumonia and I hope you're able to get out to see all the sites you have planned. Great stuff!
And thank you, History Hunter, for being such a fantastic inspiration to your lad. I can only imagine you're exploding with pride in him hehe.
All the best to you!
we thank you for the kind words my friend :)
Thanks!
This is eagle eyes. i thank you for that and we will save it for explores in the future. Thank you so very much. Greetings from me and WW2HH. Thank you.
Great work Eagle Eye! Glad to hear you are feeling better.
Appreciated and Eagle Eyes says hello here :)
Very good Eagle Eyes. I like how you go through a explanation of all the different parts we are looking at.
Great job.
Very glad for you liking it. Thank you from Eagle Eyes.
You did an excellent job on this walkabout of the panzer turrets Eagle Eyes! It is too bad that they're rusting away but at least they're still there and it would've been amazing if the cannon and machine gun were still there. You didn't mind getting your feet wet either to show us the inside views. The camera work was superb with the beautiful scenery and the silhouette of the turret. I'm so glad you're feeling better and are out exploring with your dad again. I know he's very proud of you as am I. I would love to see you do more of these. Take care and stay safe. 💖💯
We appreciate you Julie and we thank you for your kindness :)
Well done EE 👍Looking forward to seeing more of the great work you both put into these videos of history 🦅
Thank you from Eagle eyes.
Fantastic video, well done EE. Great to see you are fit and well again. Keep up the great work 👍👍
Thanks, you too!
Excellent video EE !!! Glad that you're better now !!!
Thanks 👍
That giant U bolt could have been used as a mount for the mg, keeping it tightly secured to whatever would have been attached to the turret itself.
Thank you for watching.
Well done Eagle Eyes. Glad you're feeling better. Cool site and great the Panzer turrets were still there. Is a shame they're rusting away.
Haven't had much free time these last few weeks to work on the 1/72nd scale Flakvierling 38 model that the sites you and your dad visited recently and showed pictures of made me go buy a kit of it. Built a couple of them back in my teen years all those decades ago. Seeing those Panzer turrets reminded me I have a simple 1/35th scale model of a similar site. Pulled that out where I had the box stored at. Since it uses the same color of paints as the Flakvierling 38 model going to work on that this weekend as well. Thanks for the inspiration!
EE is doing very fine and glad for that. Good to read that you are building more models. That is such fun to do. Thank YOU for your fantastic support :)
Great job Eagle Eyes, very well done! I do believe the welds you were showing us were performed during the war. Sometimes they welded using stainless steel rods which do not rust like the plate steel does. The opening beside the machine gun was probably for a sight. That third turret entrance looked tough to get into! That crank mechanism probably worked for many years until the moisture finally got to it! That riveted turret looks like they blew a hole in it, makes one wonder what happened! Very nice video EE!
Thank you from Eagle Eyes and we appreciate you Donald :)
Well done to you EE for a brilliant pesentation, very professional and well explained.HH you have some serious competition but it must feel good to have somone share the burden,so glad that EE has recovered. Also it was great to compare the German turrets with the Czech one,the Czechs produced some seriously good weopons.👍👍

Excellent Eagle Eyes. You are becoming an amazing young man. The last turret was blown out from a internal explosion. Probably after the war. A couple of other turrets Probably had the same thing the way the metal was pushed outward would come from internal explosion. ❤😎👍✌️

maybe in future. Thank you from Eagle Eyes.
Great job Eagle Eyes!
Thank you Christopher.
Very good Eagle Eyes! Thanks.
Thank you for being here :)
Great job Eagle Eyes but try not to put the grumpy old man out of a job. Amazing to see so many turrets in one location, just wish they were more protected from the elements so they would be around longer for future generations. Not often you get to see inside one of these turrets.
EE did so well and happy for that. Thanks from us and keep smiling my friend :)
Well done presentation Eagles Eyes!
Thanks from us :)
The original photo of the turret looks to have been taken during or just after the war by the way the surrounding concrete structure looks to be in very good shape. Nice find EE!
13:02 Looks like a 360 degree observation periscope 👀
Most likely so yes. Thanks my friend.
You do a very good job eagle eyes an I respect that
Thank you :)
Great Video. Good Job.
Appreciated :)
Hi EE & HH,
EE does a great presentation of the vlog.
Good that you're doing better, Pneumonia is no funny.
They had a good view over the sea.
Appreciate you Oma and greetings from us :)
Let me understand this, Hitler wanted to keep out people ( his enemies ) from the land(s) that Hitler's armed forces took by force from the native population that lived there . In this reference, it is obvious that Hitler was the one who was trespassing and should of been kept out.
Thank you for watching.
Just get lost off the channel would you.
GREAT JOB EE!
Thanks so much :)
Nice walk about thank you ee
Glad you enjoyed it
10:29 I believe that is storage for a spare sight glass.
i did not know that. Yes it can be that. Thank you from Eagle Eyes.
@@WW2HistoryHunter It's right above the vision port and has felt liners to protect the glass. That's gotta be what that is. The vision ports had very thick glass to protect the occupants inside the turret.
Cool and thanks :)
Very well done young man, excellent work and a couple more years and your dad will have competition or he will have to change the name to history hunter'S.
Thanks so much :)
Great job EE’s great video 👍🏻. You’re giving your dad a run for his money 😆. Sorry HH you got a great son there. Glad your both doing really well
Thank you from Eagle Eyes and we appreciate you my friend :)
