How to use a Qalam | Materials you need for Arabic calligraphy (Lesson 1)

Assalam o Alikum everyone,
In this video I am going to teach you how to use a Qalam step by step. If you are interested in learning Arabic calligraphy or you are Arabic calligraphy beginner then this video is for you. Grab your materials and follow my steps. I hope it helps you.

Materials you need:
1. Qalam (Bamboo)
2. Ink (dollar)
3. Art paper or Glossy sheet

Tip: give the text on screen an outline with white, it allows to read the text easily. I use the mobile app vont so try that

is bamboo qalam a special type of qalam? can't we use the ordinary one?

U can use any type of qalam even if it's self made be sure that it should be made up of wood
