📚 I don't have a ton of room, so most of my shelves are double stacked. But I work well with what I have. I usually organize by genre. I have to reorganize because I made some purchases from Book Depository before they closed, and I have a stack of gifted books that need homes.

📚 I loved his video and how your bookshelves look by the end. My bookshelf back home is organized by favorites, read, series(read and unread) and un-read, from top shelf to bottom respectively. And each shelf is organized by size, so the tallest book at the left and the smallest by the right side. And if it is a stack, the tallest at the bottom, as well as the last book in the series.
i’m about to go to college so me and my sister are switching rooms and i’m finally going to get a large book shelf and i’m so excited !! mine are sitting over piled on a book cart and in stacks on the floor rn

Your shelves look to great!! I like to order mine by theme like all my pirate books together and desert setting together.... almost all of my books are fantasy so that works well for me. I just finished reading the Daevabad Trilogy and it has been so hard to get right into another book after that series.

If all the books in a series can be read independently of each other, then unhauling them should be fine if you don’t care about a specific entry.
