If u can build shelves around the loft (custom) that would give u more room for the books. Keep the area under the loft as your study and reading area (you can fit some shelves around them tho but don’t close the loft)

Western fashion is huge in Arizona! It's really common for Mexicans around here to wear cowboy wear as formal wear too. My dad wears a coordinated hat, belt, and boots to funerals, weddings, quinces etc.. Fun fact:Vaqueros (Mexican cowboys) were the og and is where the term "buckaroo" comes from.

Unpopular opinion: I really love reorganising my bookshelves
I clutched my pearls when you said you don't know who Julia Whelan was. When you look on Libby you can find all the books she narrates. She narrates Taylor Jenkins Reid books and so many other books. Books I never knew about. Still love you, boo.
Definitely checking out her backlist then!

Never Let Me Go is one of Ishiguro's best novels (if not *the* best). If you're not an Ishiguro fan already, you will be one by the end of this book.

I need to reorganize my shelves but I don't want too because as you know it is a lot of work, especially since I need to unhaul some books too seeing that I have over 1,000 physical books. Unfortunately I do not have enough bookshelves so there are books stacked on the floor. I would like to get to a point of no books staked on the floor which most likely means unhauling 300 - 400 books. :( I have already unhauled 300 books this year and so I have to find the motivation to do it again this year.
You made the statement that A Court of Thorns and Roses was boring and I wanted to cry because I loved that book. I am currently reading the series and I have just have A Court of Silver Flames left to read and then I will be done. I have loved every book in the series.
Might have to make a TBR closet like booksandlala.

2. I would say lower your expectations for happy place, especially if you have had trouble with EH in the past bc same and happy place literally infuriated me lol

I gave Never Let Me Go 5 stars! 20:05 Read it for a school and ended up loving it, crying at the end. Part 3 is what got me. Tbh the middle was a bore for me, but it was worth trailing through. Had me really questioning the morality and humanity of people. And I love a tragic ending.

just a suggestion, if you hate cleaning or organizing, I suggest you should have shelves inside a closet like floor to ceiling closet. Because the books aren't catching dusts all the time. Then minimize the visible shelves in your room. That should minimize your cleaning chores. 😊
