i saw this show in vancouver. They opened for Blitzen Trapper, who i was there for because a friend told me about them. I learned first hand how a band can blow another band off stage that night. it was at the media Club, small venue.
The people talking suck. I saw them a month later open for Matt Pond PA and I was mesmerized. 15 years later I still remember how great they are live. No excuse for talking.
just in case you haven't found out in the last 3 years .... you can see a cable going in to the sound hole so either he is using a pickup for DI or he has a little microphone inside. It sounds clean and clear enough to be a microphone.

They seem genuinely happy to be there.
I was there - this was their first show in SF. I don't remember the crowd talking this much, but it has been 8 years..

That audience had no idea how much FF would blow up. They missed out if they weren't paying attention.
