I'm using a similar deck, but with Slasher/Bloodletter instead of the Priest. I like the idea of Hopeless Nightmare over Duress, so im going to try it out!
hi, slasher vs priest...tough decision, i prefer preacher because it s more difficult to terminate, gives cards and life... of course, if you running some combo pieces like bloodletter it s a different story again...the space is just very limited in this brew. duress is more control like but because i like to get rid of "any" card, getting the hand down to 1, i used the nightmare for this. have fun :)
phuu...difficult. i really like the pixie deck, it s very fun to play. on the other hand, annex is very powerful card and i like to draw cards... they are not comparable how you play them, even if both are discard decks. take the one which seems more fun to you. good luck :)
i prefer the preacher but the slasher is good too of course. preacher is more difficult to terminate, gives cards and life...it s one of the best black creatures.
I have every land they’ve released and these are my favorite. Also, I may try this. The meta is so stale. I’m diamond 1 right now and just bored. I always push mythic but it’s the same bullshit
yeah, i also usually don t play more than until mid season on the ladder. it becomes brain dead. i suggest look into brawl or play some off meta decks in the play queue.
ah Ben, still around?! :) at least i reached mythic with this brew in a couple of days, for me it worked very good. btw, have i ever made a deck which worked for you? can t remember that you ever wrote anything positive. sorry if i forgot that... anyways, have fun and cool you re still around and didn t gave up ;)
@@phantasmsplayground Some of your Zero Rare decks are actually not that easy to play, maybe too hard for beginners, even if they don't need a lot of wildcards. You can't make a lot of mistakes if you want to win with them.. This Mono Black, on the other hand, plays very easily and is very strong. Many other channels would make a thumbnail and title like broken super power unbeatable 10/10 rating 😜
@@tomi-of6pf this is so broken ;D of course it s more difficult to get wins with a zero rare deck compared to a tier 1 and this mono black is not a tier 1 either but again, i reached mythic with it quite easily and it worked in mythic as well...so...i have no clue why Ben can t pilot this...well...people make different game decisions, for some a deck works, for others it doesn t. i don t know the guildgate deck he s referring to. of course any discard deck has problems against "graveyard" decks like reanimator, roots, etc but otherwise... obviously it worked for you and me ;)
@@tomi-of6pf There's some deck that requires you to have ALL 10 guildgates (those dual lands that come onto board tapped) on the board and then play some card called Maze's End to win the game, but absolutely no one would play that lol
