I bought a pack of origami paper that was 15cm x 15cm. I cut each sheet in half and it still worked perfectly with these dimensions:)

I made one but I doubled the dimensions and used contruction paper and I'm loving it! I made one for my mom this mother's day. I hope she likes it! I'm also making a bunch of other paper flowers to make a bouquet of sorts lol

the best rubber bands to use, imo, are the ones that you use to make rubber band bracelets. they're small, and they come in different colors that you can match colors

It looks just like a whole star anise before it is folded into the lotus flower. This is wonderful; Star anise is native to Vietnam, and the lotus is their national flower. No mud, No lotus - thầy
I think if you had 2 pinks and 2 greens, place the green between the pinks, you would have a tulip.

Glue and tape. No. But sometimes you need to use different sized paper so you have to cut. Yes its the art of paper folding but its also a craft. You won't be shunned for using some string

Does it matter if we don't cut the paper to 7.5 cm, but to just 7 cm?
And how did you cut the paper: lengthwise or on the width? (sorry for bad grammar)
Camelia Ersando it doesn't matter what size the paper is, only the ratio. smaller paper will only make a smaller flower. the ratio is just one square paper cut in half. so one side is twice as long as the other
