If you want to do this with one-sided paper, start off with the white side up.👍

I have only attempted this origami twice, but I enjoyed it a lot. I first tried it using a4 paper but it is much too thick. Practice using newspaper as I find its softness and how thin it is really help. The petals need a lot of care and patience but this is possible by a beginner. On the outer petals I am still getting tears

Thanks for making this video, I attempted to make a water lily using a written guide and found it very confusing. However, it would be useful if your hand didn't block the view of the camera at the most complex part..(5:40 - 6:15)

I can't do this it's so hard oh and bye the way how did you do it at the last few steps.I didn't know it was this hard. I tried three times and it did not work it just failed and ripped it is so annoying. It's also so hard to bend it is so thick! I need help so bad

Anyone know what size paper is used? I used 6 inch but mine came out smaller so it didn't fold like the on one the video

This doesn’t work. I don’t know what he did, but it didn’t happen when i followed the instructions closely. Maybe try to add better instructions like a voice over.

Kept trying it with 15cm origami paper and it kept ripping.
I found that you have to kind of roll the petals over towards the centre, instead of lifting them. Pull quite hard.

PRINCE Rehman None, it's got to be square paper. You can buy origami paper in various sizes that are square, and the paper tends to be thinner, but just cutting some normal paper down to size should work
