- So back to the nfs remixes. It all started with this beauty :D listening to rom di prico's original, I always get goosebumps. I'm not so happy with my first remix of that time (2013). Now it's time of a re-work of pi. This time a little more original faithful. have fun :D

Countless hours driving my F355 Spider, probably not the best car in game, but surely my preferred. This track by Rom di Prisco was one of my favorites, I usually just wait in the menus just to enjoy it. Man I would pay 100 bucks for a NFS III 2020 edition with today's graphics, same cars and circuits. Just like they did with Age of Empires 2. EA make it real!!!!

I would love nothing more than this, but that company was Electronic Arts. Now it's simply EA; a corrupted shell of what it once was.
Need for speed 3 Hot Pursuit remake.
@Dani loved the Spider too. Wasn't the fastest car but turned on a dime for it's class.
From reading specs and reviews the 355 was VERY highly underrated for it's time
Every time I’m in my Nissan350z I always play His soundtracks of need for speed remix for real even in the night time
A Pi baked even better than the original! If only EA would obey the natural order of the universe and commission you for their NFS soundtracks ;]

"intense and relaxing" Imo that's true for all his best tracks. I haven't found this kind of combination of DnB and Trance anywhere else. Or at least nothing I enjoy quite as much.
@@JonNeydu it's as 90's as possible and i'm really at loss of words that someone is STILL able to keep this genre up... seeing as in 2022 this is lost in an ocean of "modern" simple styles

Definitely a masterpiece, love the transition at 2:34 just when you think this couldn't become any better, it does.
Great remix. The atmosphere of the early NFS games is hard to summarize, but the keywords - darkness, mountain roads, exotic cars, Rom di Prisco - come to mind.

NFS III has lots of open lit spaces and this is nice. Same with Hot Pursuit. Riding in the mountains in the sunny weather is pretty dope.

Romulus 3 has a part where it almost feels like Wind; like Dark Electronica Wind Storm; almost all of Rom Music is difficult to describe Dark Trance Electronica

Rom doesn't need help. It would just hinder his genius. The only one who could collaborate with him and make the best of the best was Saki...but, sadly, he is no longer with us.

Oh DAMN, I played countless hours of NFS III, and remember this song fondly. I'm honestly, not sure what was done to this as far as remixing this (its been over 20 years since I last played it,) but please take that as a compliment, because this sounds even better then I remember! It's like I was there all over again.

Edit: your xtreme g remix are pretty good, would be cool if you tried that on wipeout 1 soundtrack. Pretty sure Tim Wright would be the first one to want that.

I see you collaborating with an indy game studio on the true spiritual successor of NFS not the crap that EA is releasing since Carbon.

I had this idea for so long, keeping the setting late 90's, early 2000's with 80's/90's sports cars and a realistic atmoshpere but fun to drive. I have the vision, the experience of the classic games and driving/working on real 90's cars. Maybe I can convince a friend and my younger brother to aid me with the game development part as they are game devs. I am good in putting ideas down on paper and actually figuring out how to realise them, but I can't nearly code well enough to make a full game.
I am now in my last year of industrial design engineering in university. I know from experience how much time and effort it takes to complete a project from idea to concept to prototype to product. This made me realise that developing a game like this is way too much do alone or with a few people in our spare time.. Especially if I want to make it properly good, which I really want, but probably lack the skill for.
And even if I did start this as a side project, it would probably take something like 5-10 years to complete that way.
I suck at racing games and have near zero knowledge about cars, but NFS III OST is very special to me, back in the day I ripped it out of the PC version and listened for many years.
And this is one of your best remixes for me personally, because it has a very good balance of original + new, and plus I've been a fan of anything breaks/dnb since the 90s.
Just discovered your channel, I LOVE your classic Need for Speed Remixes. I came in skeptical and by accident and came out extremely grateful to run into your music.

You should honestly upload one of your nfs remixes to the nfs site/page and tag them and give them a sample to listen too a lot of older nfs fans me included would like the old style of nfs music back and brought to the newer ones and you'd be the best person to bring back the old nfs style music.
Hot Pursuit and High Stakes PS1 versions was best NFS Games. Beautiful interface and aesthetics, great rock and electronic music.

adding to this kind of music to the Need for Speed Heat would not have been a good idea because that kind of music only looks with Need for Speed games that do not contain tuning (the true essence of Need for Speed)
Right, EA only caters to “ricers” now. The spirit of NFS died after NFS Porsche 2000, they probably fired the original team and hired a bunch of kindergarteners.
