Is the drumming catching the ear of anyone else with these new songs? It's so good and adding a lot to the songs. This is not to shit on Vinnie, of course there's no LTJ without him. But there definitely is a new and noticeable energy coming from behind the kit with Matt.
It's amazing -- most bands' songs become more monotone and bland over time. Less Than Jake, though, seems to only pour more emotion into their songs, so they stay relatable to us as we age along with them.

It's not that. They write about what they see and what they feel. They write about their dumb mistakes, but they relate it to all of their fans. They have changed a million times over. They make mistakes and they have triumphs just like we do. They put both of those things into their songs. Been a fan for over 25 years.
