I just discovered Bois Dore and I love it so much! I also recently fell in love with Mrryh and Tonka. Tonka must be my thing! If you could do a video on Tonka fragrances for women/unisex that would be amazing.
Hello Josephine You keep surprising me with fragrances I don't know and I love it. This is one of the reasons why your videos are so intresting and the other reason is your knowledge, your passion and your descriptions of the fragrance compositions 👌😃 Fragrance Du Bois Santal Complet is truly a fantastic fragrance and in my opinion not only for the ladies -> unisex. From Fragrance Du Bois I have a suggestion: Oud Orange Intense. I have from nearly all Fragrance Du Bois fragrances samples and in the last few days I tested some and Oud Orange Intense was among them... my wife got a sniff and she fall head over heels for this fragrance... I have the official permith to buy a bottle... 😊 Greetings from germany
Yes Oud Orange intense is a nice fragrance although not 100% my style. Beautifully blended though I can completely understand why so many people love it. Thanks for your kind comment as always :) Have a wonderful day!
Thanks for the amazing list. I'd say on my spouse I really enjoy Tonka Imperiale by Guerlain and Like This by Etat Libre d'Orange. Also Dior's Hypnotic Poison smells amazing in autumn. Cheers.
I’ve never smelled Gold Fluidity, I have to try it. I bought a sample for Santal Basmati and loved it. I also think maybe something with oud would be a great choice for colder months. Thanks Josephine!
Angelique Noire is one that I’ve been lusting over for years. I’m going to treat myself this year! Orchidee Vanille is good but I’ve always loved Bois Dore more. Thanks for sharing
From your lists for the autumn, I'm curious about Santal Basmati by Affinessence, Bal d''Afrique by Byredo, Tardes by Carner, and Santal Complet by Fragrance du Bois. They are probably all too expensive to buy and wear. I'm happy with (a few of) the perfumes I find in normal shops. I am suspicious of perfumes that are coloured because I imagine they could ruin a white top. (They won't make it any whiter anyway.)
It is so refreshing to hear about some of the niche brands that I have never heard about from anyone before. I live in the US and the frag community here tends to rehash same brands over and over, like Tom Ford, Le Labo, Kilian, Byredo etc It’s so cool to discover some of the less known smaller niche houses. I am so excited to get my hands on some of the scents you mentioned and try them out 😀😀 Currently waiting on my Fragrance du Bois samples 😋 Also, I own Guerlain Angelique Noire, and I had no idea that it has a pear note, neither have heard anyone mention it. I thought the greenness comes from a note of Angelica root. I have never smelled it in its raw state, but that’s what most people say when they review this fragrance. That’s interesting. I thought I loved it but I rarely want to wear it, perhaps I am more of a straight up vanilla girl. I really enjoy Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanille. I don’t own it but seriously considering, unless I find something else that piques my interest. Also own By the Fireplace , and yes, it is absolutely beautiful, warm, cozy. Perfect for colder seasons 😋😀
I love your videos because I always discovered something new! Thanks for recommending unique scents always!! Now my pocketbook just has to catch up with your uploading schedule...might take a while...hehe
As a man I love By The Fireplace although it can lean a touch sweet in the dry down at times but it’s gorgeous unisex scent. I also love Angelique Noir and regret not picking up a bottle when o travelled more pre-Covid! Some beautiful and intriguing choices. Love your content
What an amazing video 🥰 I absolutely love , love your videos ! Just ordered discovery sets from Teo Cabanel and Fragrance Du Bois ❣️ I also love by the fireplace , such a cozy fragrance . And Santal basmati is on my wish list too... next I need to try Bois Dore 😉
I will be wearing Noir Exquis ( which I prefer to By the Fireplace which is sweeter and less smooth). NE is made by the same perfumer as Absolutio, so will have to try it too! I also wear Ume by Keiko Mecheri for its jammy fruit and spice, and Molton Browns Milk Musk for its peachy and vanilla/tonka milk vibe. I want to get my hands on a sample somewhere of Piano Santal! Thanks for the nice ideas. I love and wear Tardes, so I am not sure if my loyalty can part with it enough to try other Carner Barcelona fragrances 🤔🤔🤔
Soooo great video again !!!! My favourite season when I can wear My the most loved fragrances! Do you like Santal by Van Cleef & Arpels? I find it very soft and nice too. 😍
Hello Josephine - great video! How would you compare Piano Santal and Santal Complet? I absolutely love sandlewood in perfume and was hoping to pick up a new one :)
have you tried elizebeth and james fragrances? would love to know your thoughts on all of them. my personal favorite are the black, amethyst and bourbon. all of them are so fall winter appropriate!
Yes I have! I have Nirvana Bourbon which I added in my top 10 list from last year I believe and have a full blog post about it too. It's an awesome boozy vanilla scent. Check it out :)
Hi Josephine. Late to the party here but... What do you think of Cafe Cabanel’s longevity and projection? Ive currently been trying the samples and i loveee it but feel like it fades fast (but so did my Herod samples so maybe it’s a sample thing?). Was wondering how it performs straight from the bottle :)
Last year you had Tardes mentioned as one of the best fall scents. Which one would be your favorite now, Tardes or Rima XI? I'm thinking of blind-buying one of them :)
Right now I have a bigger preference for Santal Complet, I think it's perfect for this time of year. When it gets much colder I will probably wear more Piano Santal, it's more cosy and comforting :)
Ok on the gentle fluidity gold i heard it smells like intense cafe .i dislike intense cafe its very metallic generic smelling on me.but the way you describe it seems to resemble candy. Just curious so confusing.
I am definitely more on masculine side even I’m a woman. I own a few from your men’s list but I don’t own any from your women’s list. I’m exploring Andy Tauer line now. Have you tried them?
There's many women who fond of wearing men fragrance, here i live. It seems they don't find feminine capability and worthiness in women fragrances. There are few brands and fragrances women rely on.
When a perfume has a leather note, please let us know. Some of us can't stand leather notes. I won't even consider a perfume that has a leather, civet, or castoreum note.
Can you please put a list of fragrances under the video?
I'm so glad you spoke about Carner Barcelona - a very underrated house in my opinion. My personal favorite is El Born, soooo cozy!
I just discovered Bois Dore and I love it so much! I also recently fell in love with Mrryh and Tonka. Tonka must be my thing! If you could do a video on Tonka fragrances for women/unisex that would be amazing.
I love Tonka based scents too! Will look into it :)
If you like myrrh and tonka you should try Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka Cologne Intense which is amazing and long lasting.
Finally someone talking about Gold Fluidity! I feel like a lot of people dislike it. I love both equally, gold and silver. 🖤
It’s my favorite from MFK, people hate it because they think it smells like Mancera’s Roses Vanille, I disagree.
Ritz _Essence yep. Doesn’t smell like Mancera to me either.
I have yet to try Roses Vanille but regardless MFK do fragrances so beautifully :)
It reminds me of a weaker version of ristretto intense café

That's so great to hear Mariana :)
Your excitement in this video really shows your love for Niche fragrances, and I don't blame you 😃
Tested By the Fire Place a few months back and that fragrance is unforgettable and gorgeous! It’s on my wish list this Christmas 😍
I think it’s too smokey
Great sense💘
Thanks for always posting great videos💘
I love the varieties and your unique selections. I always discover something new.
Your ability to speak perfect English and French interchangeably is unrivalled. Amazing!

Maybe it’s because I can’t wait for Fall to begin but this is one of your best episodes ever. Well done!

Thank you Diana :)
These sounds wonderful! I had to add a couple to my wishlist.
Inspiring choices Josephine and you look stunning as always:)
Love your line up .. gonna check out some I never heard off
Hi beautiful Josephiné 😍 Thanks for this inspiring video! Bois Dore has just been ordered🙈😊🌹
Thank you Miré :) I hope you love it as much as I do!
Sorry I’m a little late for the party, love to rewatch 🧡 what was the #5? Was looking for it but somehow it doesn’t exist 😅
Merci pour ses précieux conseils et de partager avec nous tes découvertes 😊👍
Bois Dore is fantastic 🙂 Thanks for the video 🌹
Girl you are so unique in your choices, I love you!!!! I mostly have the same taste as you, wowww

@@jusderose there are no samples anywhere of Piano Santal. Any suggestions?
@@jusderose I change my mind! I smelled a sample of RiMA XI and must have it!
Bois Dore! Very good stuff indeed. I like your choices Josephine. 😉
Thank you!
Great List!
I adore bois dore 😍
I want By The Fireplace so bad!
On est d'accord, la dragibus noire est la meilleure!
J'aime tellement By the Fireplace, je pense que c'est simplement mon parfum préféré.
Who else hit the like button before watching this. I know it will be another great video 🥰🤩
Thank you :)
yesss!! finally for women❤️❤️❤️❤️
New Subscriber 🌻
Excellent perfume choices 🙂
Thank you!
Soooo great video again !!!! My favourite season when I can wear My the most loved fragrances! Do you like Santal by Van Cleef & Arpels? I find it very soft and nice too. 😍
I haven't tried that one yet!
Boie Dore is heavenly, one of my indispensable perfumes 😍
Compared to your vanilla choice from Van Cleef, what are your thoughts on orchidee vanille from Van Cleef?
Love your makeup. What’s your thoughts on Dries Van Noten par Frederic Malle for women? I love it for Winter.
Thank you! I think it’s a beautiful perfume, very smooth and cocooning
Thank you! Where do you buy these perfumes? Sephora?
Hello Josephine - great video! How would you compare Piano Santal and Santal Complet? I absolutely love sandlewood in perfume and was hoping to pick up a new one :)
Santal Complet is more airy, like gold powder and sophisticated. Piano santal is richer, denser & creamier, also more cosy.
have you tried elizebeth and james fragrances? would love to know your thoughts on all of them. my personal favorite are the black, amethyst and bourbon. all of them are so fall winter appropriate!
Yes I have! I have Nirvana Bourbon which I added in my top 10 list from last year I believe and have a full blog post about it too. It's an awesome boozy vanilla scent. Check it out :)
Fragrance du Bois, i will go sniff it soon!
Im in heaven with CD ispahan, wow..
Next time pls do top 10 frag for smoker... tq
The color on the ring..what is that? I do miss the pink ear rings.
the drama in the descriptions are on point... but compared to the insta stories they are nothing. Insta story ones are on another level! :D
Ahaha well you mean TikTok ;)
@@jusderose yup

Hi Marie! I get decent longevity from Cafe Cabanel ~6h but it’s true the initial strong opening will tone down a little
You are gorgeous, able to lift my spirits, and have an attractive smile. Go on, successful girl
Last year you had Tardes mentioned as one of the best fall scents. Which one would be your favorite now, Tardes or Rima XI? I'm thinking of blind-buying one of them :)
Ahhh this is tough. If you're looking only at fall/winter I would go for Rima XI :)
Hello de "Lu"...! :) love the analogy!
How would you rank Santal Complet vs Piano Santal?

@@jusderose I'm taking good notes, Lady :))
An exciting video!
can you recommend a trusted website from where we can buy samples? they sound lovely but can't commit until I smell them :) keep up the good work!
I have a full video on where to get samples, check it out :D
Love your lipstick 💖
Nice picks....
What do you think about the new formulations / weaker concentrations from Fragrance du Bois?
Yes, please watch Fragrance with Ami’s video about FDB. They are being shady and a lot of customers noticed the big changes in formulation.
TJ Uyliapco watched the video and was shocked.
Ok on the gentle fluidity gold i heard it smells like intense cafe .i dislike intense cafe its very metallic generic smelling on me.but the way you describe it seems to resemble candy. Just curious so confusing.
I haven’t compared the two next to each other. I’m not a fan of intense cafe either!

Definitely!
I was today years old when I learnt that brits were pronouncing Haribo wrong. LOL
3 times I watched this video
Why pronounce Haribo with a silent H?
Because that’s how you say it in French 😉
Tardes is off the list this year.😆
There are so many other great picks!
