I guess it‘s just a question of the price. I am a real Mora-Fan. The Kansbol ist an extreme good knife for a nice price. My second Mora is the Robust. Cheap and nearly undestroyable. Then I own all options for just 50 bugs.

Morakniv makes great knives, I'm not going to debate that at all. Thanks for watching, take care and Cheers!

Great informative review I have both your right about what your needs are for the knife to carry. Mora offers some many knives I like the Mora companion for food preparation. I think Mora makes the best carry sheaths for all their knives. A wise man once told me you can never own to many knives. I like watching TH-cam on knife reviews your camera close up is the best thank for sharing this.

Great video Toad, I’m no expert on knives and only have 5 Mora knives. The Companion was my first buy and in my opinion is one of the best value for money knives out there. I have 2 Mora 2000 knives which are a similar shape to the Kansbol and along with the Mora #1 Carbon have been blade blanks that I’ve made into very usable knives. The Shape of the 2000 and Kansbol is excellent for Carving and Whittling. I no longer think of myself as an outdoorsman but when it comes to value for money and practical use I would say hands down Kansbol every time, I however have never held or used a Garberg so my opinion is very squewd and uninformed to say the least. Another brilliant video my friend, keep them coming 👍.

Nice video mate. I recently bought both of these knives second hand and very cheap. Both look like great knives

Thank-you. That's really something I need to start doing, buying my knives 2nd hand. Things are getting crazy expensive these days...

My dream knife is a Carbon Kansbol, full flat grind, all other aspects stay unchanged.

I bought the Garberg on Amazon for $55 with the mounting kit. I love the knife only thing I’m changing is I’m convexing the grind. The Kanbol is a totally different knife. One is a survival knife the other is a hunting knife. One for flesh one for everything else. That’s my opinion.
I’m also a big fan of 14c28n. I wasn’t a mora fan until recently. My favorite cheap knives however is Hultafor Ok4 and BPS adventurer both knives blow away the mora companion.

It’s pretty simple actually, the Kansbol is a better knife, the Garberg is a better pry bar.

It could be possible to take the Kansbol and a Mora Robust instead of the expensive Garberg… ✌️

I have the Kansabal and the Garberg, as lite as these knifes are I have no problem with taking both in the bush with me or camping. I always go with two fixed blade knives anyway, I believe that having a backup blade is important. They are both good knifes for their intended uses. Good video

Thank you and yes, I agree with you, both are good knives. I also usually bring at least 2 or more knives with me into the bush as well. Cheers!

William Collins of 'WC Knives' has many EXCELLENT (compound grind) knife designs in his stable. Check out his Master Woodsman I (or II), Blackbird, WCSK, & others.

Way to much money for a sharp piece of steel. Seriously what makes his knives worth $200+ . When I can get a mora Garberg for $50.

@@richardhenry1969 Agreed! Mora or Joker is plenty good. Value for moolah.
