It’s not even a rich neighborhood. The items aren’t rich ppl’s items either. All neighborhoods throw out these typical items. Check out taco, he curb hunts all the time and finds pricey vintage items, but he also recycles a lot. At least it all is recycled or re-used.
And now they’ll have their new little bundle of joy! 👶🏼

I really enjoy your laid back approach. I would probably pick up more damaged stuff because I have had long experience of fixing breaks.
When i was about 18 my dad started to do this in (RICH) area's and sell stuff at the flee market. He used to call it."Im wheelin and dealing".... I miss my dad🙏💕. Isnt it fun😁
It’s an honest living and saving the environment.
A coworker used to do this with her husband, clean stuff up and sell it at flea market. They used to make great money.
When I returned home to South Africa, from living overseas, this is how I kept food on the table for my son and I - by trash picking - refurbish / restore and then sell on at the local flea market ... you guys are very very blessed by the quality of the things people throw out in the US.
I was glad to see another video pop up my Wife who i was with for 30 yrs passed away a couple of days ago and our relationship was a lot like yours. Make sure you guys never go to bed mad and always say love you because the feelings I have now are terrible. Sorry for venting but I see us in you two.

From one cat lover to another, I agree Sammi more should be done to help abandoned pets, especially cats. I own two all-black female cats from the same litter. They are indoor cats, each with their own individual qualities, Tucker, when you sat in the car with that monkey, you looked like a kid with a big bag of candy. 😂Keep living the Dream you two, as you never know when it will be your time to find that one item worth its weight in gold. 🤞🙈🙉🙊❤
that white wooden chair with the bamboo back would have been an ideal project DIY to paint hot pink lacquer with zebra or dalmatian print fabric and sell it as an eclectic piece for eclectic collectors from NYC and sold for $250
Watched you two about a year ago…then didn’t see you. Was watching “dumpster diving” videos and thought of you…now here you are. Not sure if you two were married back then, happy to see you are AND you have a little papoose named Finley )spelling). How sweet. Keep on loving each other and that little nugget.
When you run across white outdoor chairs/lounge chairs, do keep an eye out for ones that have the adjustment for backrest on the arms. Some of those also have a slide out footrest that changes a chair into a lounge. The pair I found in a Goodwill priced $5.99 each were stamped Made in France and retailed for over $250 each. Hell of a come up!

Loved this one! I'm dealing with the aftermath of pipes rupturing in the wall of my laundry/storage room and sorting out over 20 years accumulation; tossing things that got wet, salvaging the rest or setting lots of items to the curb each week as I sort, in hopes they can get renewed use rather than ending up in the trash. Due to a combination of age and health, I just don't have the strength or energy to have a yard sale, so I'd rather give it away on the curb or gather up the picked over items once a week for my son to take to be donated. it gives me great pleasure to see my treasures disappear from the curb one by one, hoping they will bless others as much as I have been blessed.
Hope you get your house all fixed up and yes agreed when we put stuff out I live to see people take it as well!

The half barrel is a rain catching Barrel... the whole towards the top is to keep it from not becoming a problem, if you haven't hooked up a hose, to direct the water it's catching away from your foundations... the awesome particle board veneered dresser is somewhat cool just don't get it wet...
I'm guessing that those neighborhoods are well aware that when they put things out to the curb they know pickers will be around shortly after.
It's their way of donating items for free to others that will make use of them .
YES a lot of times this is the case and when they see us taking stuff they are so happy and sometimes even give more!
Yes. I admire people that do that. Some of our neighbours will leave it out a few days before garage pickup day just to give the item a chance to be picked up. I was leaving home to go to the store when I seen my neighbour put out 2 amazing arm chairs practically new and 2 small lounge chaise. I had my son picked them up and bring them inside. We left one chaise behind and literally 5 min later someone picked it up. We got lucky we grabbed them when we did. Best curbside treasure I've found so far
Remember to check the pockets, zippered stuff for more treasures, you could ne surprises what ppl try to stash and forget about it.

How smart of you two. Ive put things out on the curb before just to see how fast they go. So far in 10 years, everything was gone in less than 2 hours. Never thought of reselling. Duh!

We have 6....all are rescues one way or another. We love cats more than anything.
That's awesome! I used to foster cats and abandoned kittens. Bottle fed many until they could be spayed and neutered by my local rescue. Then they went on to their forever homes. It's a lot of work but fun and rewarding, as well. I still have four in my home.

I grew up at the shore and Longport wasn't always as bougie as it is today. Back in the day there were mostly cape cods and modest beach homes. They've been replaced with McMansions. Longport used to be essentially like Margate and Ventnor.
Even in the 90’s when my parents bought a house there it was a lot different.

That barrel is a rain barrel. Sets against the house under a gutter drain. Catch rain water for plants. Should be a spout at the bottom to hook a hose up to.

We are from Toronto Ontario and my husband finds amazing curbside treasures like coffee table, old style chest, lamps. Toronto is the hottest spot to find amazing curbside treasures.
you know with that regal headboard you could attach a cushion bench with faux fur material to sell as a regal seating area for about $1200-2500 and attach faux rhinestone where the buttons are on the headboard...so next time you see another you know what to do

It's nice when neighborhoods have once a month garbage day for big items. You see people cruising the street looking for things to take. I even scored a few items that were put out for the trash.
I follow another youtuber and he goes to the rich areas where he lives and has found, 24 caret gold jewerly and brand new stuff. good luck guys..

Some people just put things out to the curb hoping others will come and pick it up. This way they don't have to haul things away. I do that sometimes. People get it for free instead of having to pay for it at a thrift store. Win win. If my stuff doesn't get picked up I then will bring it in to donate.....never trash it!
@@bonesbigfoot2654 Yep lots of people will put stuff clearly outside the can or on top to make it more accessible for the pickers. We also do this!

Tucker go on eBay and look at replacement wicker for chair bottoms buy a sheet of that soak the piece of wicker and water it pretty well does itself it's super easy
alot of people use those luggage carts to cart away files with a milkcrate from office to office....IDEA
