    I was confused about the filter replacement indicator as well because it wasn’t glowing like what it says in the user’s guide! I even turned the lights off to see if it can glow in the dark but it was just a pale green colour. Glad to find out I’m not the only person thinking that lol

    The indicator light got me too the older version of the brita faucet filter had a blinking light. We had it but it recently broke and I needed to replace it but all target had was this same crome one so i used it for about a week and still no light its only when I returned it and bought a different one did I realize its not a light anymore. 😂 I didnt even think to turn to google or youtube to look it up until now 😂

    Great water filter. The white model is Model SAFF-100; Replacement filter is FR-200. On ebay filter base [including a filter] is $19.00. Good for 100 gallons. Replacement filter is $10.

    Thank you so much. I ran my water for 5 minutes and thought it was supposed to glow right after and it didn’t. I then put my phone light to it and saw that it was green. I then went on TH-cam to see if it’s supposed to light up, glow or is it supposed to just show the indicated colors as is. Thanks for the entire video. It helped in general.

    • @KevCentral
      @KevCentral  ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol. Thanks - I think 🙃. Hot water can be ran as long as the filtration is set to off. Hot water would ruin the filter if it is ran through it. It is designed so that turning off/bypassing filter allows for either hot or cold water to be ran unfiltered

      I was referring to the Brita filters for the 'OnTap Filtration System.' They make a chrome version (like in the video) and a white version. I don't even know how people think it's ok to drink tap water or cook with it. It's just so nasty.

      randomnessextremez brita doesn't even filter the water that well I took strained lime enriched water and I had to filter it 10 times and I was surprised it still looked cloudy

      That's because it is ok to drink tap water. Actually buy a ph tester and you will see that your tap water is actually cleaner then your bottle water. The reason tap water has a weird taste is because it has a little bit of chlorine in it to keep the water clean.

      No bacteria can survive the extreme heat of cooking, only bacteria that live near volcano can survive extreme heat.

    For someone who drinks bottled French-named tap water at ridiculously inflated prices, it shouldn't come as a surprise that you don't know which direction screw threads go.

    Shame you wasted drinking water you ran for five minutes. Wow that’s a lot.

    So if you want to use hot water do you have to remove the filter part?

    • @KevCentral
      @KevCentral  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. There is a switch on the filter. Just turn the filtration off using the switch when running hot water.
