i don’t know Oscar or Floyd personally but when it comes to boxing both men were ahead of their time.
They approached the industry like a drug dealer, not like a sport. Weirdly enough, some might say it did more damage.
I know Oscar personally and saw him fight since he was 14. Oscar would have destroyed Ryan and Floyd in his prime. Oscar knocked my friend Fernando Sanchez out with body shots in the amateurs that would have killed grown men and Fernando was a national golden champion.

In every other interview I’ve watched with Ryan, he’s always been quite articulate and clear with his speech. He’s clearly intoxicated, probably drunk due to the redness of his face and high as he keeps munching on snacks. Quite unprofessional, probably going through the motions after losing the Rolly fight, which would’ve been a relatively easier fight against a decent name, but if this behaviour continues, it can’t bode well for the rest of his career.

Because you have weight bullies who don’t compete in the weight class they should really be in and will drain them selves to make a certain weight then want to rehydrate and gain another 20-30 pounds come fight night which on paper gives the advantage to the naturally bigger fighter

Ryan Garcia is going to be 26 this year. Oscar turned 26 in 1999 and in a year (sep 1998-sep 1999) he fought Chavez, Quartey, Oba Carr and Trinidad. He had 5 championship fights in 1997 at just 24 (Whitaker included). Ryan cant talk about what Oscar did or did not do in the ring. Oscar may be a clown now but when he was fighting he always brought it.

Ryan was right about everything except oscar reaching his potential. ODLH has a career that stands whlith any fighter of any era. You can knock his career being short at whatever 30-40 wins. But he has a resume filled with top notch fighters that can also hold their own with the best of any era. All of his losses have an asterisk to them besides pacquioas. Hes fought literally the best of every type of boxing style. He was simply the representative, the transition period from all time boxing bouts to popularity contests.
