To answer everyone’s comments, this is fortnite, it’s the save the world game mode. And this loot seems bad because he’s in stone wood, once you get into the high tier end of planterton, that’s where you start getting malachite which is a really useful material. Also you can’t get schematics from these, only transform caches or something.
me and my friend actually got a level 7 chest after Van or Astro-Van by doing literally everything. we finished the exploration, the rocket took 0 damage during every wave, we completed it in the time limit, platinum everything and then winning. im pretty sure epic didn't expect you to get level 7 because when we got back to open it, it said level 6 loot.
it depends on the the hardness of the mission just so ya all know, the higher the level the better stuff you get, it seems like this guy played on a low lvl map

I did that same mission and I also got lvl 6. But I got 2 active power cells and 4k survivor xp and so gold

The loot wasn’t good because you were in stonewood and you are almost guaranteed a level 5 or 6 chest in launch the rocket mission.
Feels like level 3 is best...
