I feel you, she was robbed of killing Queen Beryl in Season 1 of Crystal and she didn't do anything memorable (as herself) in Cosmos. At least in Eternal she managed to wipe out those Dagger Twins with Venus Love And Beauty Shock (a move I found useless in the Original Anime and loved it in Eternal)
I just hope that the Sailor Moon Cosmos movie will be dubbed in English when it gets added to Netflix. I recently looked at the Sailor Moon R movie on Netflix that comes in between the Sailor Moon Crystal show and the upcoming Sailor Moon Cosmos movie, hoping that the Sailor Moon R movie would be dubbed in English like the Sailor Moon Crystal show is, only to discover that Netflix's Sailor Moon R movie isn't dubbed in English.
Yess I’m cool with Venus being the leader of all of them but they need to stop pushing that narrative of her being the strongest cuz she’s definitely not the strongest amongst the inner guardians secondly toei animation did a horrible job they could’ve added better fight scenes like the sailor senshi being easily defeated doesn’t sit right with me like they could have done done it with them taking each other out. They say all the sailor senshi Eternal forms rival each other but they failed to show that but I still loved the movie eternal sailor mars and eternal sailor moon are my favorites
@@alucinado1021 Since I don't know the manga and Cosmos isn't released yet, all I have for reference is the 90's stars arc and I very much liked it. Second only after dream arc actually, but opinions are like hearts - each one has their own :)
@@dorderre It is not a matter of opinion, it is a fact. And for your information, cosmos was released a year ago. You can watch it online or just wait until it gets to Netflix next month. But either way, Sailor Moon Crystal is way better than the 90s anime for the sole reason that it is true to the manga so it does make justice to the story and the characters, especially in season 3 with sailor Saturn. My only complain is that they should ve continued with the series, instead of turning the dream and stars arc into movies. But for cosmos, they do tell the story as it is. We get to see how cold, cruel and violent Galaxia truly is and we get to see sailor cosmos, who was completely eliminated from the anime. We also get to see the back story of chaos and the galaxy cauldron. So as much as people love the anime and feel nostalgic about it, crystal is by far superior because it simply tells the real story of Sailor Moon. The anime was really funny but too childish, so a lot of things got censored or completed erased from the anime.
@@alucinado1021 "close to manga is automatically better" is a highly subjective statement. But as I said, I only know the 90's anime. Not the Manga. Not Crystal Cosmos. Since I can't understand japanese, I depend on some legit translation. I don't mind watching with japanese audio, but the least I need are some subtitles. So I'm waiting for the Netflix release on 8-22 until I can judge whether the Anime or the movie is better. Take Eternal for example. In this case I'm clearly on the side of ... well ... both, actually. The movies were definitely way more beautiful and straightforward. But the TV show had more of the charm you get when you have more episodes to flesh out characters and motivations. The Trio, once a force to be reckoned with, fully fleshed out characters, were nothing more than monsters of the week in the movies.
@@dorderre It is very simple. The manga is the story of Sailor Moon that the creator wanted to tell. So by changing a lot of that, which the anime did, Then you re not getting the true essence of the story, so yes this new version of the story that is close to the manga is definitely better, it is not a matter of subjectivity. You can criticize the animation or anything, but the story is way better , and that’s a fact. Also, sailor moon is not supposed to be charming. It actually has some pretty dark, cruel, and graphic moments in the manga. The 90s anime just made it more family friendly, it was entertaining, and really funny, but it is not better than the story in the manga. The original material will always be better. Take the infinity arc or season 3 in the anime. That’s the story that was butchered the most. The outers spent pretty much all season worried about sailor Saturn s awakening and she pretty much only does a back flip in the entire season and “sacrifices herself”. In manga/crystal, the outers explain how Saturn can destroy the world, and how they witnessed her do exactly that in the silver millennium. They are also terrified because they know she can awaken at any time because the three of them are together with their talismans. Then when she awakens, she has no hesitation to swing her silence glaive to destroy pharaoh 90 and the world. We also get to see how powerful her attack is. Also, in the manga the enemies are killed faster, they don’t make it to several episodes like in the anime.
Yes, since each senshi (Even the Starlights) are based around a mythology of some sort...The Maker, the Healer, and the Destroyer (Star Maker, Star Healer, and Star Fighter). It would make sense that Star Maker's attack would have to do with the womb (making of a child, where life begins).
@@AyreliLight their mythology was never really confirmed. It’s only theorized that their mythology is based around the Hindu trimurti (Shiva, Brahma, and Vishnu) who represents those respective elements. And I do not think Naoko Takeuchi ever confirmed it.
No, English dubs do not suck big time, @alucinado1021. English dub makes it possible to understand what is being said in a movie or show that had originally been written in another language.
The directors of the show never picked up the ball on allowing Sailor Venus to step into her natural leadership role while she was good.

Hate to say this but it's good to see Sailor Venus taking her role as the leader.
Siempre debió ser.
Be that as it may, this whole this was horrible to watch.
The fact it took her to turn evil to finally showcase that lol
It's not funny.@@kstarnovagal6672
