Agreed. I love this new animation and how close it is to the manga so far. The only thing so far that I have an issue with is in the opening of the show, we see a shot of Queen Serenity. And she's blonde. I don't know, from the previous anime and the internet, I always assumed she'd be white haired or a light lilac. Blonde? Eh.

my first real experience with sailor moon was watching crystal and now this song triggers such strong emotions in me lmao why am I so attached to this show
I tried to get into the 90’s anime, but hated the filler. I just couldn’t get into it. Then I watched Crystal when it came out and I instantly fell in love. Every time I hear this theme, I always get intense chills.
Had to watch this back in the early 2000s when this was aired on American TV (and most families had to share the tv) Did the new version deal with the horrendous fights? Getting off one attack before getting wrecked isn't a very compelling sequence.

Sailor moon is the anime that potray so many emotions. It helps you to deal with so many things personally. Growing up, I'll always look up to the sailor senshi on how they embrace themselves. Their girls on girls friendship is so amazing. Like how they uplifted each other up, its so inspiring.

This opening is beyond perfect. I love how it hints at those older magic girl anime OPs, yet you can hear some of the newer influences like Claris and AKB48. It hits all of those little beats/parts that I would expect in a classic Magic girl theme yet.. still feels fresh and updated. IDK I'm in love with this OP
Peeps on this planet i know many are unhappy with the new SM but i think it is great the old series did not stick to the manga and this one is closely following itand i am truly grateful. I know many dislike the animation but we are in the 21 century so get use to production making figures more realistic.

久しぶりに聞きに来たら、英語のコメントばっかりでビックリしました。それだけセーラームーンは世界で愛されるアニメなんですね。すごく嬉しいです。
セーラームーンはめちゃくちゃ世代だし、自分の趣味趣向にめちゃくちゃ影響されてるくらい大好きだからOPがムーンライト伝説じゃないのが最初は不満だったけど、実際Crystalを見ててこのOPを初めて聞いた時はもの凄いしっくり来たというか、最高のOPだって鳥肌立ったのを覚えている。

Agreed. I love this new animation and how close it is to the manga so far. The only thing so far that I have an issue with is in the opening of the show, we see a shot of Queen Serenity. And she's blonde. I don't know, from the previous anime and the internet, I always assumed she'd be white haired or a light lilac. Blonde? Eh.

this was also one of my first animes i watched so the emotions are even stronger
I tried to get into the 90’s anime, but hated the filler. I just couldn’t get into it. Then I watched Crystal when it came out and I instantly fell in love. Every time I hear this theme, I always get intense chills.
Had to watch this back in the early 2000s when this was aired on American TV (and most families had to share the tv) Did the new version deal with the horrendous fights? Getting off one attack before getting wrecked isn't a very compelling sequence.

Sailor moon is the anime that potray so many emotions. It helps you to deal with so many things personally. Growing up, I'll always look up to the sailor senshi on how they embrace themselves. Their girls on girls friendship is so amazing. Like how they uplifted each other up, its so inspiring.

This opening is beyond perfect. I love how it hints at those older magic girl anime OPs, yet you can hear some of the newer influences like Claris and AKB48. It hits all of those little beats/parts that I would expect in a classic Magic girl theme yet.. still feels fresh and updated. IDK I'm in love with this OP

Peeps on this planet i know many are unhappy with the new SM but i think it is great the old series did not stick to the manga and this one is closely following itand i am truly grateful. I know many dislike the animation but we are in the 21 century so get use to production making figures more realistic.
