100 YEARS OF HORROR #95: The Canal (2014)

- The Canal is an amalgamation of all your favourite modern ghost story tropes, combined into one scary, sad and thrilling package.
A film archivist is tasked with reviewing some old reels that were donated. In an eerie coincidence, the footage details a police case from 1902, where a shocking murder occurred in what is now the archivist's house. This begins a downward spiral of jealousy, paranoia, adultery and maybe even ghosts.
This is the 95th episode of the TH-cam series, 100 YEARS OF HORROR, by Haunted Blowfish. The series highlights one horror film per year for a century, from 1920 to 2019.

@@HauntedBlowfish hey I'm down! This has been a lot of fun man. Of course, I know you're not quitting after a hundred. I just think that it's a cool milestone. You reached over a thousand subscribers, and now you're at the end of one of your goals. I think it was worth the wait. At least from my perspective. Keep doing the quizzes and reviews and all that stuff.
Hey. Quick suggestion. You should take suggestions from subscribers and or patreon supporters. And what I mean by that is review something that you legitimately have not seen. And since I know how well-versed you are in this genre, that's going to be pretty hard to do. I'd be really interested in hearing your reaction to the first time viewing of a few films I have in mind that I think are right up your alley

That is actually a great suggestion, thanks! A good way to make the channel more interactive and involved, and an excuse to broaden my horizons. I might save it for a bit later down the road though, when I (hopefully!) have gained more subscribers, just so that the suggestion pool would be more varied.
And thanks again for sticking with the channel so long. There is yourself and a handful of other regular commenters that have been interacting since I was doing videos on the 1930s or thereabouts, and it is very rewarding to still see comments from this little gang. Makes me think I must be doing something right (which is rare)!
