If I had a dollar for every time my sister says, "Go Johnny Go Go Go Go" and "you're my wife now" I'd be halfway toward paying off my student loans. I almost regret showing her LoG. Almost.
I’ve always loved this sketch. Thank you LoG for this. I now call it Bamalamafishfash whenever at work you get the usual type of management style that expect staff to keep working, despite poor communication, shit support and guidance because only they know the rules, or at least pretend to. Brilliant and so well written. It has kept me sane through many troubled times in my workplace 🙏😁❤️
Ha! Like it. I should say, though, as the script extract at the LOG website confirms, it's "Bamalama-Fizz-Vaj". LOL. www.leagueofgentlemen.co.uk/logepisodelists2ep3.shtml
@@StonefieldJim4 I know, I heard it again that it wasn’t fish fash but that’s what I’ve been calling it all these years and it sounds right somehow so will stick to that now I think😜😉
In an audio commentary for Blood On Satans Claw, Mark Gattis said there is a second part to this sketch which is not included in the tv version, but was performed live at Drury Lane, and in this second part he raises his glass and recites a toast to the King, which is a reference to a line in Blood On Satans Claw. Has anyone seen this additional part and where on earth can I see it?
Very good and nice to see it again. But…. I went to see them in early 2000s and 90% of their material was directly from the TV show. Very little new material. Disappointing

She's so me when someone just says "go"
The three main reasons why I love Great Britain: Monty Python, Mr. Bean and The League Of Gentlemen!!
That last one is the best reason my friend

You've probably found it by now, but do you mean the sketch about 33 mins into this? m.th-cam.com/video/ALRLKWBuZ2w/w-d-xo.html
I know you asked this a very long time ago, but in case you never found it it’s in the dvd version
Just to clarify: according to the script extract at the LOG website, it's "Bamalama-Fizz-Vaj".
Who else keeps being reminded of Johnny B Goode?
3:36
Hilarious. Just so damn funny. xx
Bam-a-Lam-a-Fizz-Fadge can be rather complicated.
40 Card Drag is the superior intellectuals game.
A pleasure :D
I say "Very interesting Mr. Bond" a lot, but never while playing cards.

I was thinking this! 😂
Wonder how long it took to rehearse this whole bit lol
3:36 "Stupiiiiid..." I remember this part making me uncomfortable even back when this first came out on DVD.
Why?
My ADD brain trying to follow instructions
What's with the mics?
It's so the audience can hear them.
@Gretchluver1 - I found your comment so amusing it caused me to expel air in a rapid staccato manner.

Damons are worth 3.
Except for one-eyed 3's which are wild cards, but we'll come to those in a minute.
