Finally the genius of Honey Singh has been acknowledged by someone. The man is a musical genius, and he sings in different tempos and accents within the same song. Minor correction though, his big break in bollywood came from Angreji Beat in Cocktail, and Makhna and Urvashi are good songs, they only beg for the right headphones. Also, bacche bacche kya, meri maa bhi Sunny Sunny and Dil Chori ki crazy fan hai, and she understands no lyrics.. 😂
I am surprised his reach is strong in Kolkata too. For the correction, my defense is - angrezi beat was a remake, his first song as a rapper was subah hone na de.. both under Pritam as musical director. That's why I mentioned.. as full fledged music director.. where he did everything with full autonomy. And ofcourse.. the songs he is making in 2.0 are 100Mn songs.. the debate is whether you will talk about them in 2030 the way we talk about Blue Eyes.
