If Biden drops out it would be ironic if Kamala faced Trump in a debate. He talked about "black jobs" and she would be trying to get the same job that he's going after.
I'm getting fed up with people framing Biden's current situation solely on his debate performance. We've all watched his decline over the past four years. Thursday's debate was just the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back for many people. And besides, there's also the fear that it could be a foreshadow of worse things to come.
Of course it will because the kind of things it's going on, related to aging, don't get better
Exactly! 25th Amendment NOW. Who is running this country because it is not Joe Biden. That is dangerous for our country and unsafe for the American people.
I went back and looked at the past year of public appearances. There’s a sharp break around the time that Jill got Covid and Joe was quarantined but supposedly never tested positive.
That was September last year. After that incident, he’s had that nagging cough and raspy voice and has REALLY dragged his feet.
His speeches all read normally, however. Imo his mind is fine - he’s been battling some kind of chronic illness and it’s finally catching up.
It makes me angry that I have to do this work for corporate media. I mean, I’d verify it independently anyway.
But media should have been presenting this very very basic and falsifiable information all along, since these questions started coming up.
Even Fox and the other opposition media failed on this point. They were so busy lying about Biden’s mental state that they haven’t been reporting on and demanding answers about his obvious physical decline.

@@irenafarm I am a registered nurse and routinely deal with patients with dementia and alzheimers. Joe was showing signs and symptoms of dementia 4 years ago. Joe most mostly kept in a basement during the campaign trail so people would not notice. I suspect he is mid to end stage dementia at this point. He needs to be removed from office because of his cognition issues. Who is running the country because it is not Joe? .

Our Constitution and democratic system must hold even if our representatives are unable to fulfill the duties of their offices. We are not a monarchy.

The Constitution dictates that either Joe must decide to step down, or else the Cabinet, VP, and Congress must all agree to declare him unfit.

It's not just one bad debate. The questions needed to be answered not avoided. That debate was for the people of this country. Avoiding the question invites suspicion about our future. That debate was big and small businesses, governors, and mayors, councilmen, military personal, unemployed Americans, displaced workers, the elderly, the sick, welfare recipients, homeless people, immigrants, law enforcement agencies, allies and business partners. That debate gave the public nothing. There was not a winner.
Stage 5 dementia symptoms include:
Pronounced memory loss, including personal details and current events.
Wandering.
Confusion and forgetfulness.
Disorientation and sundown syndrome.
Further reduced mental acuity and problem-solving ability.
Trump is far worse. He repeated slogans and didn't answer questions. At rallies he struggles with words (though Biden is the one with the stutter), talks about sharks and electric vehicles instead of reading the teleprompter, and mixes up Obama, Hillary, and Biden. His gait is another symptom.
Biden answered questions, stated goals, gave detail appropriate to the two minute time limit, **and** fact-checked Trump real time. He's an old man, and less physically strong, but still healthier than Trump physically and mentally.
It wasn't a bad debate. It was 90 minutes of lack of cognition.

We have a problem with Biden's memory and Trump's criminality. The difference Americans truly need to look at is the guardrails in place to resolve each or either issue. Biden has people around him to remind him of things, that will do their jobs to the best of their ability to keep him on track. Trump will be surrounded by "yes men" who aid his criminality as much as possible. I feel confident Biden's issue can and will be overcome however, nothing but Biden being elected will stop the issues we have to face with Trump.
