Hello, you are watching video:"This Is How You Can Easily Create A Branch Of PVC Pipe From The Main Road" on Daily tricks channel! thanks for watching! 🚀
In much of the tropics, there isn't usually hot water, only "cold" which is about 25 C degrees, and pressure...well it's usually just a dribble, maybe 5 psi.
When you show up to a job and you find this stuff. This is the guy. This is the guy that did it. Yes it all works great for 2 minutes and then disaster
Excellent solutions for the Third World when there are no hardware stores anywhere to be found and you have no money, but what you do have is a bunch of junk laying around to fashion as you need it to make things work. Good video.
They do make saddle taps for drain stacks. It’s important that the hole matches the diameter of the saddle taps diameter. You do not want a "shelf" within the main pipe otherwise it can collect debris and plug up.
But if you live at the end of the road and need a solution without going to town then this is a solution that clearly works. No money no travel on break in the flow of your day
Que ingenioso... excelente....como con esto puede solucionar un pequeño problema con una gran idea... realmente digno de felicitar....de mi país Chile... gracias
Great hacks, particularly if you need an emergency fix and don’t have the normal fittings available…. you can always come back later and do a full, up to code repair.
What I don’t and never will understand is why don’t the pipe manufacturers make specific fittings for specific needs? Here in Greece when they don’t have a piece of pipe that does not have the factory expanded joint, plumbers heat the pipe and expand it with another pipe of the same diameter. Hell in the states we have fittings for about everything one might need. It’s quicker and you do not need to waste torch gas to get the job done.
I am so envious of your plumbing fittings, be it pvc or copper. I do jobs and think I wish they made a fitting to do that. They do. Just not in Australia.
@@scarey2meWhat part of Australia are you in? I regularly buy reducing T's or saddle fittings. Just don't go to the bigger hardware stores like Bunnings, use a real plumbing supplier.
Most of the things in the video are good methods but in the first Part1 method, the heat gun with a Nozzele gun adapter to focus the heating on the pipe hole section only will be good to avoid heating the rest of the pipe section next to the hole weakening the pipe structure. Secondly, the rusted screws screwed into the pipe to fix holes in the pipe are not a good idea for avoiding the screw corrosion into the water over time instead use plastic wall plugs, or heck even the plastic drinking straws will be just fine bend the straw in half and then put the straws bent side into the hole then go on with the Pvc glue and Pvc cut the piece to secure the damaged section of the full pipe.
Glad to see my comment was helpful and hopefully you will try to do better in future videos and avoid the wrath of TH-cam commenters in your next video. Which I will say were right in their place but could have gone with a constructive criticism approach like I did to help you see the Errors of your methods in this video and help you do better in your next videos in the future.
WHY are un-narrated videos ALWAYS stupid?! Heating PVC that much weakens it to the point where it will never be as strong nor hold it's original shape.....

"how to tee off the main line, with only a straight piece of pipe"
Waste of time
As a plumber I'd never even dream of doing this
I imagine you've lowered the structural integrity.
@@thegiggler2 no you'd just use a tee

The video is all about tricks and tips that I have never been taught or known about. Thank you for sharing
thanks you!

There's no way that's code or contract specifications compliant. 😂
Благодарим ви!
Thanks
Ces idées de réparations sont géniales. Un merci de France

nice tips n trick❤
This is good stuff for after the apocalypse
ok..dalam keadaan darurat ide ini sangat berguna.. ❤
Thanks you
It would be easier to just cut the pipe and put in a tee.
😂😂😂
Depends on the application and limitations.

A branch with a T would be ideal, also a strap on boss would be good. But when you haven’t got any around this metode would work.
is it true......i like it❤❤❤❤❤
That was brilliant!! This would work great for no pressurized systems, as in drain water.
thanks you!
11:04 what if I used a dye stock to thread the pipe than first heating the reducer bush?
Rất hay, Rất hay, Rất hay.
It is good idea

Some Great Fix Hacks. Is the first one of the Tap into the main 2".5 with .75 branch code compliant. ?
Rất bổ ích
فكرة جنونية !!!
No quaranties that leak is not possible, most likly it will🤭
thanks, No job can guarantee 100% absolute satisfaction, sir!

tks
You are shred and dextrous no doubt. But pl. tell me how to remove the iron dummy from the branch pipe to fix a tap. Pl post a video.
Zabardast Idea
Thanks!

Third world plumbing!Okeys gone wild!😮😅😊
There are some places in the world where they are using PVC pipes for plumbing, sir!
@@dailytricks6161all over the world but that doesn't mean it's just do whatever you want. There are plumbing codes for all this, PVC or not.
Really thank you!
Ah, yes.... iron screws to stop the water. even a rusty one.... water and iron is a big no no. just cut the pipe and put a new one in between...
The branch from the main road has water in it. And it's under pressure.
It can be used for wastewater systems with low pressure
Not code compliant
Not reality compliant!
❤ amazing
thanks for watching
👌
Amazing idea !
Это работа для тех, кому нечего делать от скуки, вот они и делают глупые вещи
Great life hacks, I will definitely use them! Thank you, master!
And this is going to hold 80psi?
whatever you do, do not put this branch inside the wall, you are asking for troubles. lol
Thanks
If I were going to do this, I'd saddle the branch on and weld it with pvc strips as filler and the hot-air gun as my torch. 😂
You have to be kidding. Open to sooo many issues.
I like theses how NOT to videos. Talk about a waste of time, materials, and energy.
Nice ❤❤
Is it cole legal?
No. Field alterations like this are not allowed. Only manufactured, listed, and rated parts are considered reliable. This...this is a science project.
Very risky. But a neet job. Better less risky ways to do the same thing

Looking at the main pipe diameter the joint wont stay for a few seconds
Что за клей?
How messed up is his country where this is considered acceptable repair?
In Europe, they use thinwall pvc and they do this ALL the time. Our waste pipes in the USA are overkill IMHO.
super
😘🥰
Strap boss. Reducer. Solvent. No leeky leeky
i like to watch this kind of video when my wife suspected my special activities with my friends. it helps a lot to answer her interrogation.
Strange he cut the screws with an electric saw. And then using a blade to cut the PVC pipe. He could have used the same electric saw
It is easier, safer and faster to grab the hand cutters for the pipe.
👍
There's no way that's code or contract specifications compliant. 😂
He isnt saying it is.
Will also clog very quickly, so just buy a T 😂😂😂
that compromised the pipe so badly it is all but useless for any pressure application higher than atmospheric
😊
Used in stealing water from main pipe
leaker!!
Not an approved fitting??
Yes
Гемор какой-то! Я бы не хотел, чтобы мне так отремонтировали!
😮 不相我到
Nothing at all looked easy about that….😮

Why wasting your time instead use a plane socket to join the pipe as a plumber
❤😅
Not worth the trouble
it causes
Raccordement : Y
That will fail, I promise you. I also promise if you get caught tapping a water main you will go to jail
It seems like a exibit😢 for school science exhibition. This cannot work mr so called plumber
Non standard and unreliable procedures. Only waste of time and money.
Thanks
Very slow video
Option Speed X2 exist
🤦🏼🙄😬
JJ
😂😂😂😂
Buy a strap on boss and do the job properly.
Do not follow this advise.
This is completely stupid, far simpler far more economical to simply cut the pipe and a Tee that is the correct method, don't do this...
. What a waste of time😂
what a shit work . never use knees of 90 degrees. but 2 x 45 degrees.
What a foolish idea.
why do you people always work on the ground squatting, ever hear of a table
