My sister has an infant. If I were having the ‘most important day of my life’ and my niece suffered an injury, heaven forbid, I’d most likely be at the hospital with her. While your loss and the accompanying grief is valid I will NOT be censoring my happiness for you. If seeing my happiness over this specific thing causes you issues then remove yourself from the equation and take all who side with you. Sister needs therapy When you decide to keep the child they are your responsibility, while your whole life shouldn’t revolve completely around your children, you can’t fault others for living their lives separate from you and yours, take time for yourself and be something more than a mom when possible. You decided to ‘shackle’ yourself to *anklebiters. Ppl’s life do not revolve around you bc you decided to have children *yes I use the term anklebiters, does not mean I see kids as anything as gifts. Just means I know they are occasionally horrific goblin eat em ups Names are not dibs, but naming after deceased children is not on and is disrespectful imo. But with the story, was it a stillbirth or a miscarriage? Bc OP says stillborn but then says BIL didn’t know if it was a boy or a girl. OP was an ass for “worry about a healthy baby not names” and knowing that this name is special to them especially since both mother and child are deceased wtf.. this is why you shouldn’t tell ppl your solid baby names, some ppl, if they hear a name continuously then they’ll eventually think hmm that IS a nice name and suddenly here’s baby amethyst.. OP is disgusting (and so is husband). They shouldn’t be surprised when family members either refuses to interact with the child or calls them anything else but their legal name
