She's working hard under a lot of pressure, she's trying to make a better life for herself and her family... the low birth rate of indigenous irish ( many who also move abroad for better pay and a work/life balance) and increasingly ageing population means Ireland ( as is most of Europe) going to rely on skilled migrants to prop itself up. These are skilled migrants with education and looking to give into the system.. I really do wish them luck.

I took a healthcare provider job in Ireland once coming from America. It was so bad for my mental health. No matter how many hours you work, all the overtime goes to taxes. The weather is no joke and I faced abject racism. Two of my colleagues left abruptly. Ireland needs Irish providers who love their land.

We have Irish Doctors who are qualified every year, but with nowhere to live and underpaid European doctor-salaries, our Irish government are actively advertising for international doctors because they are more affordable and will live in less-desirable or rural locations (which for Irish doctors are usually far away from their family and support network). This is the bold-honest truth.

Only the wealthy Africans who lived the Western lifestyle are dealing with western health issues. And those wealthy Africans do not represent the entire population: they are just a non significant minority, who hold all the wealth in their hands. The rest rely on the soil. I wanted to train as a graduate entry doctor and become a GP. I dreamed of working in a rural practice and serving the community. Unfortunately it would cost upwards of 64,000 Euro to train so that did not happen. There are no government supports in place to support this type of training, and there are very few loan options for those who have collateral enough to obtain one. It has been this way for a long time and nothing has been done to correct this, even as the shortage of GPs has continued to worsen. I can only assume the government just don't care to make real meaningful change to support the training and retention of doctors in this country because it might involve actually making difficult decisions. They would rather make token gestures and sit pretty while they further their political careers.

Could someone in Ireland explain why Irish doctors are leaving Ireland and going to work elsewhere: “According to recent data, around 442 Irish doctors were issued temporary work visas to practice in Australia”. Why can’t these doctors get jobs in Ireland. Also, studies and reports indicate that a significant number of Irish physicians practice in the US, with many choosing to emigrate due to career opportunities and better working conditions. Why is the Irish government bothering to educate people to then send them abroad to benefit other countries? Why can’t the Irish government provide competitive salaries? The government of Ireland couldn’t run a play school never mind a country. Why have they been reelected?? I feel for the doctors from SA but by the time his children are grown they will be living in the same environment they left in SA. This what happens when you have a government that runs the country for their own benefit and not the benefit of the population. It’s amazing that this has been going on since the beginning of the state and people still vote for the same civil war parties no matter how incompetent they continue to prove themselves.

There's usually no problem if the patient has an easy and straightforward case , a nurse or a P.A can handle it just fine. But the problem comes in not knowing whether it will be that simple, the most dangerous diseases usually present as simple conditions which won't get flagged unless someone has the extensive training. So it's between taking a risk and possibly under treating patients in life threatening cases or only accepting the best care which comes with long waiting lines.

Most Irish patients would rather be dealt with by an Irish person, quite simply because the bond is stronger amongst fellow people. Ireland does not have a shortage of doctors or nurses, the Irish taxpayers pays for the Education of hundreds of doctors and nurses every year... and then we export them, and then we import third world doctors and nurses and then people lift their eyebrows when they hear "the great replacement Theory"
Ireland has taken in a million migrants in 18 years that's the equivalent of 17 million people in the UK, it's absolutely outrageous what's going on in this country.
Nursing homes have been privatised for profit when once old people used to be looked after in their communities by people the actually knew, I know we know the kind of people that frequent nursing homes and abuse older people. In the 1980s 70% of nursing homes were state run, now it's the opposite and getting worse... my country is becoming unrecognisable.

But, man. I swear to God that I did not say this. I kiss your boots. I am so hungry that my conscience no longer allows me to let you go and ask us for food. I kiss your boots, man, and I ask you by God Almighty and in the Book of God, man, I kiss your boots, man. He has caused us harm, my brother, so that we can buy a kilo of flour and pay the rent. My brother, have mercy on us. He who is in the show will have mercy on you, He who is in the sky. My brother, this is my WhatsApp number: 00967711500090. Whoever can help us, message me on WhatsApp. We will send him the full name. He will transfer us as much as he can. May Allah reward you. Allah knows that my family and I, our house rent is 20 thousand Yemeni riyals per month, and now we owe 60 thousand for 3 months. The owner of the house is one of those people who do not have mercy. By Allah, my brother, he comes every day and humiliates us and talks about us and wants to throw us out of the house and into the street because we were unable to pay him the rent. We will have until the end of the week, and if we pay him, he will swear by Allah that he will throw us out into the street without mercy. See my situation for yourselves. I ask you by Allah, the Living, the Eternal, to help me. By Allah, the Almighty, even at night we cannot sleep from fear. We do not have mattresses or blankets to warm ourselves from the cold. Everything is flooded from the rain, and we have no one but Allah and then you. My brothers, I kiss your boots, don’t turn me away empty-handed. Help us with whatever you can. Is it acceptable to you that we live in this place? We are girls and we have no one. Our father died in a car accident. Consider us your daughters and your honor, and help me with whatever you can. May God reward you with good =>[[}>] ^][/*&;;&;&&;•̥·-`.`.`.`.`.•.,¸-•.,¸°꒰·̮ •̥·°`.`.`.`.`.,.•¯,.•¯}:;:;:;;::;;::;;::;;-,'-|.................،,..
