Much love and respect 🙏🏽 to the people of Ghana 🇬🇭. I love coffee ☕ and chocolates and I can thank this country directly. I also appreciate their culture very much. They are positive people and care for their ancestors by honoring them and asking God for protection and to carry the dead to the next chapter of the afterlife.
Dude it's 3rd world country run by dictators it will unfortunately never get better. None of those countries will be better. Population would have to spill blood to fix anything and history tells us none in such countries has will to do so. That's the biggest difference between Europe and Africa, in Europe as history teaches us most inadequate rulers end up killed by people its mentality that doesn't exist in Africa as even before colonisation dictators or "God kings" ruled with iron fist since down of times so they never developed that rebellious spirit as it was brutally squished for countless generations. Only thing that could fix it would be 3rd party intervention but we all know how that ends up.
I'm Ghanaian who was born in Germany. The cocoa farmers in 🇬🇭 and 🇨🇮 are working hard for the chocolate production. God bless Ghana and Ivory Coast 🇬🇭🤝🏿🇨🇮💪🏿🍫
The burial rituals and practices were quite shocking to me. I come from Kenya, in East Africa, and our funerals are quite morbid and full of crys and wailing, unlike in Ghana where it is more of a celebration. What a diverse beautiful world!
I'll be so happy once I have people realize that we aren't from Africa the Americas is ours and it always has been . We didn't get the name African-American until the year of 83 they are trying to confuse you of Who You Are. Hoping that ECOWAS initiatives can give both higher priority, to improve traffic safety and increase productivity so that Ghanaians can do more things for themselves.

I am very impressed and happy to watch this documentary, I feel ashamed of myself struggling just a little and complaining tired. Is there anything the documentary film team has created that can help those who are struggling in life and work and those who are going through difficult days?
Ghanas cocoa is of the highest quality, so that foreigners would smuggle cocoa into the country to sell it at a higher price. However, the farmers still get a relatively low price from the gorvernment, which pockets the usually higher price on the international market. A policy introduced by nkruma, which originally was meant to protect the producers but still stifles the forthcoming of this beautiful nation today.

Sounds you never traveled. Do you really think people have no anxiety or depression because they work hard? Do you live under a rock? When you have to struggle to fulfill to basics of food, water or shelter working to death you would be pretty depressed. Unfortunately for them they don’t have anyone to help including their own government. Same government that will give out lucrative contracts to foreign companies and not hire their own people for work.
As a Ghanaian living in Accra . This documentary does a good job at exposing some deep parts of the country but dont be swayed. 70% of Ghana doesn't have such bad roads. Just check out some videos on the " year of rerturn " which is an initiative that brought many Ghanaians in diaspora back home. Who better to tell the Ghanaian tale like Ghanaians themselves. Dont get me wrong, these documentaries aren't wrong but dont just assume the entire country lives like this.
Breaks my heart to see people struggling to survive when there is so many resources....but like any corrupted governments around the world they get rich while exploiting it's people and the land!
If the people would wake up and take power back it would solve their problems. But everytime I watch these documentaries in Africa, I get the overwhelming sense that everyone is just looking out for themselves, just trying to get one up on the people around them. Greed is a horrible sin, but it's the root of all of Africa's problems
People and the government are the same everywhere. When you travel to these countries you will see most people are also corrupt when given the opportunity. The leaders are just better at it.

That "what a shock" at the funeral banners is uncalled for . I laughed ngl
