i had this on cassette, this is still my favorite album i played sony walkman in 1994
I bought this one at 15 using my school dinner money ( there was a choice you either get lunch or get money every month, so I was able to buy one CD per month in 1995's+). So 40 roubles per month could be turned into one or two (if you are lucky in trade) CDs per month. But you had to bring your own lunch to school or stay hungry.

I've lost count how many times I heard this song. For some reason that third verse always get me. The way it goes to a slow start to the way it starts to get faster. It resonates with me. It doesn't matter what people think. Just be yourself and do what makes you happy

One of the first two cds I ever purchased, got me through middle & high school...holy shit. I think this album is why i'm such a cynical bastard though...well that and reality. Even though I didn't like their later albums as much I always thought the Offspring were badass, love this band.
Discovered this album in 94 when i was 9. This discovery seriously affected my mind and since the time i listen to it. Trust me guys, this Album is a Masterpiece (especially this song) and will be legendary. In 200 years, we will still listen this masterpiece for sure if the world does'nt fall in WW3 sure :)
Ignition and Smash in sequence was they're dance with the swans. Two sequential albums which hit the trend or the era of the youth at the time. Im glad that they keep/kept making music and lived for the lifestyle, but I must say. They couldve dropped these two albums, bought some real estate and become ecological egg producers or something. They would still be punk legends.

The Offspring's run of perfect albums from Smash-Ixnay-Americana is really only matched by Metallica's Ride-Master-Justice and Outkast's ATLiens-Aquemini-Stankonia. Every single song on those albums was a homerun.

The group did pretty well with the next few albums, but their music seemed to get weaker over time, and even sillier in some songs.
