Some of us may never understand how or why Michael had great talent, but I do know I'm thankful he was in my lifetime. He's like family, who I'll always love.
Yes, you found the right word to describe Michael Jackson's voice: "Ethereal": extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world.🤗
year after the years ,,,l am still listin to thats song ,, l am cry ,, my child hood had stolen ,,,,l am stil a live ,,, tomorrow it will good ... realy thats song teach my deep heart and soul ...
Today for some reason I cannot watch Michael perform. It hurts. I miss him. He and his music are so interwoven into my life that sometimes when I see him and know that he is gone, I just feel so sad in my soul. But thank you for a lovely video.
Nice reaction, nice lyrics. "No grownup thoughts to lead our hearts astray". Beautiful. I had never heard this song; thank you. As another commentator has mentioned, would you please react to his 'One Day in Your Life'. It is my all time favourite by him.
The young MJ catalog is full of gems. His voice was so beautiful. I think I hear his brother Jermaine in the background. Maybe J5 provided the background vocals. His rendition of a bunch of blues, soul and R&B hits are so great.
Did you know "Ben" was written for Donnie Osmond and "One Bad Apple" was written for Michael? BTW, I have always loved this song and "Morning Glow," That song is beautiful....
I did not know that about "Ben," J. Man. I LOVE "Ben" and "Morning Glow." In fact, along with "One Day in Your Life," they are on my short list to react to, so stay tuned. :) None of my friends liked Michael Jackson when I was growing up (must've had a screw loose), so it's quite nice to know that you and several others here love his music. thx!
Dayum daX, how did i not know this song existed, shame on me...wow, your reaction said so may truths, purity, vulnerability, innocence....and did you say a TOTALLY professional and nuanced performance even a seasoned musician could only hope to pull off..i was typing as i was listening and you said the date was about 1973...wellllll that rite there solves the mystery of my lack of awareness of this wonderful song...i was smack DAB rite in the middle of ZEP fever, lol, thoroughly besotted with them to the exclusion of a lot of stuff haha... thanX daX, for bringing this to my attention!👍
You are certainly welcome, Harold. My Zep fever was still a few years away, so I can see how you missed the "soft" stuff. LOL Michael in the 70s is pure emotional glory.
Greetings! If you like MJ’s young voice you should react to “Tomorrow (A Better You, Better Me)” by Tevin Campbell produced by Quincy Jones. Very similar tone to MJ’s at this age. Thanks Dax! Subbed!
I think "Off The Wall" was a very underrated album, I know that's a little out of your range f his age, But I think "Off The Wall" was his best album. I love MJ, and I like that you compared him to Grace, They have more similarities than some would want to admit. I'd have to say my era ends at off the wall. I do not think, outside of "Billy Jean" there was nothing that matched his earlier work....
I agree that "Off the Wall" was underrated -- possibly because it was more "dancy". But it has got some seriously cool songs, especially "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" and "Rock With You." My girlfriend at the time and I would go out dancing and ALWAYS dance to those two songs. I'll be doing reactions to those two sometime soon, I imagine. Yeah, the emotion Michael had in his voice in those early years, seriously, is VERY much like Grace's emotion. Absolutely pure. Thanks much!
If it wasn’t for your father they will not be in your position. Joe Jackson had to raise and disappoint nine kids with his wife. Now you tell me all the children I’m gonna be angels question
How is it even possible for a child to be born with the amount of talent Michael had? Unbelievable
Some of us may never understand how or why Michael had great talent, but I do know I'm thankful he was in my lifetime. He's like family, who I'll always love.
This is one of their under-the-radar classics that was one of my favorites.
Yes, with his brothers enhancing the background vocals. A masterpiece...

Yes, Grace is spectacular
I am a huge Michael Jackson fan, thank you for being so caring and kind during this. Subbed
I'm just like you trying to explain Michael's voice. Does anyone even know who taught him how to sing? Truly gifted 👏

The backing vocals in his solo Motown recordings were mostly made by a vocal group called The Waters (Oren, Julia, Maxine, Luther)
Jermaine isn't His Brother 😮
You are there by Michael Jackson. I love his vocal performance on that track!
I agree with you Dax. Michael is I loved Soul Train.
GOATED!

ALWAYS more MJ!! LOVE him so much. A national treasure! I remember this song, I was 9 when it came out! He was 5 years older than me.
Michael was amazing. May he rest in peace.
Lovely and it was live ❤️ please do more MJ songs like Earthsong or Childhood. ❤️
very lovely, but this was not live, it's soul train, nothing was live.
@Caiva Many artists song live on Soul Train. MJ never did.
Wow wow wow
I was about to wonder if we were actually going to get to see the video.

Stevie Wonder recorded this in '66 but I like Mike's version better
Oh yeah, he can dance too!🤣

Real MJ fans prefer OFF THE WALL over THRILLER.
Originally performed by Stevie Wonder
Can you react to “Ben”, please
Ben was my moms favorite, she named my brother Ben after that song! When he sang it at the Oscars, I remember my mom saying how adorable he was!! AWW!
hey daX, $5 bucks says Jman will comment here on this one, lol...😁
LMAO ... He commented just TWO minutes after you left this comment, Harold. How did you know?!!! Glad I didn't take your bet!
@@daxmusix hahaha, that's our Jman daX...💖
