- After the death of his teenage brother Andy, multi-millionaire Matt Trakker uncovers an international criminal organization known as V.E.N.O.M. (Vicious Evil Network Of Mayhem) Trakker gathers a group of friends who, like himself, possess extraordinary talents and creates M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) Their objective; to destroy V.E.N.O.M. and its mastermind - Miles Mayhem, the man responsible for Andy's death.
MASK is in general very high in animation quality in my opinion. I also enjoy the intelligent humour of the series and the intelligent characters. It´s almost like you really know them. Compare all this to the shallow rubbish they show kids now a days. This is levels beyond that. Same goes for other great 80s animation series like Starcom, Jayce and the wheeled warriors etc. Happy I was a kid in the 80s. Sadly I never got any MASK toys so I just used regular toycars and pretended they were MASK cars. I got Starcom toys though and fortunally still have them today. :)

This episode features some pretty impressive animation for its time. Just look at that detail and shading!
Ashi/Reed (presumably) does good work.
Matt screaming Scott's name isn't anything new.. But T-Bob's, that's new lol
Also gotta love the animation, especially after the dip in quality during "Panda Power" (That has AKOM studios written al over it :p )
Only AKOM had nothing to do with M.A.S.K. or pretty much any DiC show at this period of time.
Matt got some nice new thread in this episode.

Can you imagine Scott going for his Drivers’ license?
Matt: “Well, you kept to the posted limit, did very well on parallel parking, but I think what failed you is that you need to keep the car on the ground. Also, getting out of the car in the middle of the highway when your watch alarm went off. Maybe having Gloria teach you in Thunderhawk was bad idea...”
This episodes has an outfit glitch in it. In the scene where Matt and Alex are in Rhino u can see that Matt is wearing his Thunderhawk suit, but when it zooms into the computer he is now wearing his Rhino outfit.
8.06 mattt is in his thunder hawk grey uniform. Then he switches back to the rhino uniform in the next scene. 😂
9:32 - Matt looks cooler driving Rhino than Thunderhawk.

loved this show as a kid still do jsut one thing eludes me was there ever a pilot or flash back episode where we see how it all came to be how mayhem and trakker devloped ther tech and teams
Only in the 1st minicomic that was inserted with the toys. I really wish they had produced an origin story too. - Jason

Funny how Scott lectures T-Bob about suffocating considering he doesn't need oxygen. T-Bob should have said "That's a good lesson to teach to the kids, Scott. But in case you've forgotten, I'm a robot. I don't need to breathe."
Another episode where Alex Sector gets the honour of being the first agent the MASK computer chooses.
This episode was clearly done by a good animation studio
That cable rescue stunt seemed very out of character for T-Bob...but since his character is being terrible, I'll allow it.
Scott disobeys his father and goes on a mission, gets captured by VENOM, but is otherwise unharmed.
Scott obeys his father and stays where he’s told, does what he’s told...and nearly gets killed.
Matt should just build his son a MASK tactical weapon and combat suit, he might live longer.
Also T-Bob being a bad-ass.. well a bit XD
Nice to see a bit of development in Mayhem's character, asking Rax and Dagger for thier input on the painting :D

the monkeys playing chess were awsome..
MASK was drawn in Toyko and made for american tv with Toyko. However Toyko though that MASK would not drawn in a crowd as much but it was well drawn by some top key anime artists that worked for Gundam at the time ironically on their spare time as well. a MASK and Gundam cross would be epic but a Gundam pilot would win in the end. Gundinam armour is intense
Dusty Hayes is not cooking a pizza (as usual), but is instead riding a horse when he gets the MASK summon. WTF??

Why didn’t Matt just give Scott a mask and make him an honoury team member. It’s what he’s wanted since day 1!😂😂
After Raxx ejected and swam out of Piranha's side car and swam out of the water, he wasn't seen again, and when VENOM made their escape we saw Vanessa climb into Jackhammer, but not Raxx.
I just want to be Matt Trackers passport he goes everywhere. #brazil

The truck reminds me of Optimus Prime. And how ironic since both Transformers and MASK aired the same decade, and around the same time.
And now both are made by Hasbro (given that Kenner no longer exists).
the PSA must be really important to someone. T-Bob didn't pun, quip or joke at all.

If I was Matt I would send Scott to Military school to get rid of him since he always gets in trouble.

Vanessa’s a good cook - I could see her cooking a whole chicken on an open fire, followed by eating a leg.

well you can't exactally suffer in a fridge or freezer these days since all doors have MAGNETS instead of latches like the old ones
But still you're encouraged to take the door off when you throw away the fridge

The animation studio is probably the same one that did the Transformers Episode "Microbots" the animation is very similar.
