- After the death of his teenage brother Andy, multi-millionaire Matt Trakker uncovers an international criminal organization known as V.E.N.O.M. (Vicious Evil Network Of Mayhem) Trakker gathers a group of friends who, like himself, possess extraordinary talents and creates M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) Their objective; to destroy V.E.N.O.M. and its mastermind - Miles Mayhem, the man responsible for Andy's death.
do we have cartoons like this anymore?? and do we have the abundance of many cartoons to choose from from day to day to watch?? we were spoiled in the eighties and we're proud of it!! i miss my youth and all the great stuff we had. thanx for posting all of this great history. i am taking full adv of it lol!
Your comment’s a really good one. I concur that this is one of the best shows from the 80s (I just pray it never gets a remake, which would merely spoil our fond memories we have, of this show, hence animators should just leave it alone). This show could never be remade exactly the way it was, when it was made in the 80s, when we had a lot of old stuff that wouldn’t be very sophisticated *now*, especially given that Brendan McKane (voice of Miles Mayhem, in addition to Alex Sector, and others) was the first member of this show’s voice cast we lost.
I agree 💯
I also agree. Couldn't have said it better myself.
5:35 - Mayhem quoting Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven, would go straight over the head of kids watching the cartoon!
TheEyez187 only the ones not familiar with it
Nice to see Scott owns more than one shirt.
Plus a sweater.
Good stuff w/Vanessa's new skill.
Bonus PSA 1: Don't go to off-limits places, or play around dangerous weapons. 😅
Bonus PSA 2: When told to evacuate a bomb threat area, do so. 😉#3: Don't lean out from dangerous heights where you can fall.
Matt had both friends there this time, so no calls needed. Fun ep!
sadly we don't have anything like this that I can think of off the top of my head, now its all mindless random junk like "uncle grandpa" and any number of Disney shows or nick shows that have no real value, we need more like this showing, with the psa's and we also need parents to watch these with their kids to use those psa's as talking points.
I liked that show, and my nephew when he was a toddler loved it, he had a bunch of those rescue hero toys, I very rarely see anything in other shows that have any moral lessons, static shock had a lesson or two in it, one episode dealing with both bullying and guns, we need more like that, and for parents to use those talking points and parent their kids instead of the tv being the electronic babysitter
feralbigdog He-Man, Inspector Gadget, She-Ra, G.I. Joe, King Arthur and the Knights of Justice...they all had lessons in them as well
It's sad that we don't have cartoons like this and GI Joe etc
I remember my youth so well.
Has anyone noticed how Bruce never has to explain his little sayings? Matt always seems to do it for him.
Yes. I've noticed that!
Me too 😁
Wow that's awesome!!
Notice Alex has no nose while wearing Jackrabbit
Calling VENOM Agents.. Vanessa Warfield and Sly Rax birdbrains at 8.00
Sir Matt Tracker #ohboy
He's earned it
never see that coming
That IDIOT SCOTT!
i always heard stilleto as colledo
The only one that I can think of that is a good show (Not cheesy) and that teaches values or a lesson is "Rescue Heroes". But they did not catch on here in the states very well, but I hear they were big in Canada.
I'm an American, and I want to know why Americans in fiction are always criticizing Picodilly Circuis for not having clowns and animals?
Probably a joke about how circle originated from the circus.
To Americans a circus has clowns and animals
...and so spokes the raven nevermore... Mayhem reads Poe!
It’s “Quoth the raven”
@@stethespaniard2 oops.
rax looks like metalhead from gi joe. i just noticed the similarity. i guess when venom went under they joined destros iron grenadiers
ravens have black/grey beaks
jackrabbit at 18:40
Why is Matt always the one explaining the crazy stuff coming out of Bruce's mouth?
Matt has been Bruce's best friend since childhood, that's why.
@@rocketcon good to know.
Best friends not gay partners
Imagine being so self entitled you think it’s okay to just go into the non public sections of the Big Ben. If not for tbob he’d be dead. Matt is a terrible father to just leave him in these places
Scott is wrong T bob has a heart but not a human heart. A heart that is caring about others including the one who berates him all the time
is it me or the sound tracks a little mission impossible.
yes, I always thought the bgm at 8:04 does
House of Lords?
Vanessa Warfield was gorgeous...
4:20 gives you a booty shot if that helps ;)
Do you wish you saw her feet in the show? (and I mean her not having footwear)
I'd like to find the toys of thios show & possibly build a few real vehicles
Ok they won't transform but I 'd do Rhino, Thunderhawk & Hurricane a uber cool 1957 BelAir
You might try looking on Amazon. I spotted some there.
But be prepared to go through a lot of pages, and you might have to pay a pretty penny.
Real life versions of Thunderhawk and Hurricane were built for the M.A.S.K. commercials. They could even do some of the simpler transformations. I wonder what happened to them? I've thought about building real life versions of the M.A.S.K. vehicles too. It'd be especially easy to do the bikes, and Gator. Only Switchblade would be hard.
Why do they always make most of us british people sound like snooty berks in animations?
Scott needs a bloody good hiding from Matt - little shit never listens and is too used to being spoilt.
I hate Scott Trakker
jfliguy you're not the only one.
Hate, I F*#kin' HATE him. T-Bob was made for him because he'd be unable to make real friends!
:( Dad I got beat up again coz I'm an annoying entitled asshole!!! (Matt Trakker's like haha "I know, I can't really hit, so I paid some kids to bully you!" :D )
@@TheEyez187 I can see why you three users hate Scott (let alone T-Bob) - it seems to never get through to them why Matt Trakker never wants them joining him on his missions (in that, after *one* occurrence as such, Scott asks again if he and T-Bob can join his dad, on his missions, only for his dad to say no). Scott and T-Bob think the former’s dad’s missions will be fun, but, in reality, they’re a lot more dangerous - not for children, let alone robots, hence Matt Trakker always says no (his missions are especially dangerous when they’re the doing of VENOM - this could lead to Scott getting hurt, let alone T-Bob getting damaged, hence he never wants his son, & T-Bob, joining him on his missions). Matt Trakker saying no is never because he just wants Scott and T-Bob missing the fun (exactly what Scott and T-Bob always think) - it’s because he cares about Scott (let alone T-Bob), especially when - I reiterate - his missions are never as fun as Scott & T-Bob think.
@@michaelweech6432 So true! You'd thought he'd have learnt his lesson from the first epsiode [Death Stone], where he nearly got one of the team killed; he even admitted to himself then that it was all his fault!
And, Scott's meant to actually be really intelligent!!
As a kid watching I wouldn't have needed a kid there to be invested, he's been watching too much Inspector Gadget and think he and T-Bob are Polly and Brains! >XD
Only slightly racist episode
danger2bananas how so?
indeed slightly racist............. for its time i guess it wasent racist........... it was already slightly racist
Not racist at all. Kudos to the writers for correctly naming the guards Yoemen and not Beefeaters. Even UK residents often make that mistake.
I don't see anything racist about any of this. First time I've seen all these great episodes in 35 years! Part of my great '80s childhood reclaimed! Now I can laugh at all the puns that went right over my head back then.
