Dr Nefarious was one mighty enemy and he did not die with that blast he was still alive without even having a scratch . According to me, the strongest villain.
Chech out Klunk at new game+. I fought him like 30, 40 minutes, and maybe half of his health bar was gone. And few milions of my bolts ofc because ammo chests respawn really sucks

Electrø740 Considering as they made the movie first and that the game was the lazily put together story identical to the movie, the movie sales are reflected on the game sales. The 2017 movie is already set to come out and is well under way in production.
God, I just can't get over how badass Dr. Nefarious is in his Up Your Arsenal and Crack in Time battles. He's just such a perfect villain in every spectrum. Especially in the third game, the way he uses and improves upon all of his prior attacks as the fight progresses always seemed so realistic and amazing. How he starts with just shooting one clone strike thing out at a time, but near the end they're moving all around you and attacking from all directions. It's just so cool! Lol.
it is definitely very difficult. the amount of health he has versus the damage you do makes it very difficult but with otto you can use the ryno. with klunk you have to you less damaging weapons and no ryno with clank, making it slightly more difficult in the long run.
Watching all this, I've just realised that all the final bosses of the entire Ratchet and Clank franchise feel like soulslike bosses, I mean, when I first fought against them, they were all really hard and took so much time for me to beat them.

My opinion on the hardest bosses in R&C history: 5. Darkwater: The guy tests you on your reflexes. Also, since Quest of Booty is the only game with no Ryno(or Harbinger) You're in for a hard time with this fella. 4. Final Battle with Drek for the first time: This guy won't be so hard once you got all weapons on gold and the ryno. For first timmers thou, he can be quite annoying consider all his variety of different attacks. I recommend that you buy all the "nano-drinks" so you have 8 nano's. 3. Gleeman Vox on Exterminator Mode: This guy can be quite the pain if you choose to take him on at the highest difficulty. Luckily, the game doesn't require you to defeat Vox in the highest difficulty in order to get 100% Exterminator. My best advice is practice. You won't kill him in one try. 2. Final Battle with Otto: When you face him for the first time, this guy is a nutjob. He can kill you in just TWO hits and has an powerful sheild that protects him from massive dmg. My best advice would to buy the Sheild Charger and use it as a "decoy" 1. Final Fight with Lord Vorselon on HARDEST difficulty: If you don't have you most powerful weapons on max, you're pretty much fucked. Or, atleast that's what i recommend. Vorselon has deadly attacks that can wipe you pretty easily. My opinion the easiest bosses in R&C history 5. Giant Protopet 4. Giant Protopet 3. Giant Protopet 2. Giant Protopet 1. Giant Protopet Thats like the only boss i find easy in the R&C-franchise. The others are pretty much okay or good when it comes to difficulty.
+Albion 1977 I don't hear Size Matters talked about a lot, but man Otto was hard as hell, as he could just absorb anything you did, even if his shield was down, he took little damage, his attacks get harder to avoid when his health gets low.
The final Vorselon fight was fucking hard. I remember as a kid playing GC and thinking the Mutant Protopet was hard just because I didn't realise how useful strafing is XD
Why was Nefarious the final boss of the remake? Actually, why was he in that game at all? I mean, I know he's a good character and all, but still... Meanwhile, at Insomniac Studios: Yeah, Nefarious has only been in 3 or 4 games, just keep milking him, the fans will love it.

Awe67890 Mano this what I normally do against that boss, use the rip u a new one ( r.y.n.o. ) and the buzz blades, keep atleast some buzz blades around and use the ryno, the ryno alone doesn't work for me apparently so buzz blades does help, that's my cheapest tactic against vorselon :p

It's funny cause in the Ratchet and Clank Movie *spoiler for that* Nefarious isn't incinerated by the star; instead he is badly injured, crashes to Umbris, and is rebuilt from pieces of the wreckage to be the robotic, squishy hating, glitchy as fuck Nefarious.... I kind of wondered why they made the endings different, especially since one of them opens up a continuation
jon3s115 in the original if you play all the quark vid comics in up ur arsenal, you find Quark ( of all ppl ) defeats nefarious, and then have him plummet down into the machinery below a bridge, it's there were he was turned machine ( that's how the original put it anyways, not sure what there gonna do with nefi in the remakes )
jon3s115 I read something in the wiki the other day just about that. What happened was once Nefarious was "pushed" into the dwarf star it actually mutated him or something on the reboot timeline. Because I believe the mech-suits raritanium exterior and his DNA merged or something. Either that or the developers didn't show us what actually happened at the end of the remake be chase they want to make a big reveal in the next game. I'm so happy Nefarious is the main villain! He's my favourite bad guy from the whole franchise.

Joshua Bucy secret agent Clank's boss had 3 different forms that would switch constantly and quick time events I'll admit its probably not the best boss but its one of if not the most diverse in the series
I think size matters should have gotten a bigger PS3 game and not the psp version we got. Would have been cool to see the world from a micro perspective with better graphics and engine, not to mention a new original villain and story instead of just fighting nefarious like it seems to have turned into.
Yeah I enjoyed Size Matters, but I have always felt it deserved more. The concept of shrinking, etc was really cool, but they should have made it in to an expanded PS3 version with better graphics, mechanics and an expanded arsenal of weapons (god, the Concussion Gun and even the RYNO sucked. I only liked the Lacerator and Acid Bomb Glove) I mean, collecting armour was fun and the combat wasn't that bad. ...BUT THE GAME HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL. So, in the end, not a terrible game, but bad in comparison to what it could have been. (I still played the hell out of it, nonetheless.)

Drek is my favorite PS2 final boss. The giant protopet is forgettable and while Nefarious is the funniest villain the second half of his boss fight sucks.
@Kostas GamerGR: As @MikeCherry pointed out, the PSP titles are going to have reduced graphics due to the limitations of the handheld. I never owned a PSP or a Vita [ sure wish I had one of those], so I never played those. I think the PS3 titles have nice graphics and obviously the reboot on PS4.

Awe67890 Mano this what I normally do against that boss, use the rip u a new one ( r.y.n.o. ) and the buzz blades, keep atleast some buzz blades around and use the ryno, the ryno alone doesn't work for me apparently so buzz blades does help, that's my cheapest tactic against vorselon :p

Nefarious isn't incinerated by the star; instead he is badly injured, crashes to Umbris, and is rebuilt from pieces of the wreckage to be the robotic, squishy hating, glitchy as fuck Nefarious.... I kind of wondered why they made the endings different, especially since one of them opens up a continuation
jon3s115 in the original if you play all the quark vid comics in up ur arsenal, you find Quark ( of all ppl ) defeats nefarious, and then have him plummet down into the machinery below a bridge, it's there were he was turned machine ( that's how the original put it anyways, not sure what there gonna do with nefi in the remakes )
jon3s115 I read something in the wiki the other day just about that. What happened was once Nefarious was "pushed" into the dwarf star it actually mutated him or something on the reboot timeline. Because I believe the mech-suits raritanium exterior and his DNA merged or something. Either that or the developers didn't show us what actually happened at the end of the remake be chase they want to make a big reveal in the next game.
I'm so happy Nefarious is the main villain! He's my favourite bad guy from the whole franchise.

I think size matters should have gotten a bigger PS3 game and not the psp version we got. Would have been cool to see the world from a micro perspective with better graphics and engine, not to mention a new original villain and story instead of just fighting nefarious like it seems to have turned into.
Yeah I enjoyed Size Matters, but I have always felt it deserved more.
The concept of shrinking, etc was really cool, but they should have made it in to an expanded PS3 version with better graphics, mechanics and an expanded arsenal of weapons (god, the Concussion Gun and even the RYNO sucked. I only liked the Lacerator and Acid Bomb Glove)
I mean, collecting armour was fun and the combat wasn't that bad.
...BUT THE GAME HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL.
So, in the end, not a terrible game, but bad in comparison to what it could have been.
(I still played the hell out of it, nonetheless.)

@Kostas GamerGR: As @MikeCherry pointed out, the PSP titles are going to have reduced graphics due to the limitations of the handheld. I never owned a PSP or a Vita [ sure wish I had one of those], so I never played those. I think the PS3 titles have nice graphics and obviously the reboot on PS4.
jane1975 don’t know what else he could be referring to as the ps3 games had better graphics. He may be referring to how the psp games got ported to ps2 and didn’t look as good as the other ps2 titles.
