🥰 for me this is the best blackpink song, it stands out in all aspects, co-written and co-produced by jennie, jisoo and David guetta, excellent mv, excellent lyrics (although it is sad the rhythm is happy) good rap lines of LISA and JENNIE, great vocal of JISOO and ROSÉ, and has a super fresh and different concept, and the best thing finally gave ROSÉ the prominence it deserves because its distribution line is the most extensive and its participation is the best elaborated of all mv, definitely what I loved the most was ROSÉ's great work as an actress and singer is impeccable.

Lovesick girls is the most straightforward lyrics i've seen from them. The lyrics doesnt need any deep metaphor.
My favorite song in the album is no. 1 Pretty Savage, no. 2 Lovesick girls and no. 3 Love to hate me. Pretty savage is just straight fire, like i keep repeating that song. But all of the songs in the album is amazing, it's BOP!
In jennie's rap part she is answering to all those who said jennie is always treated as yg's princes and she just slapped those antifans with her rap which was also written by her 😍😍😍

P.S. There is a Theory about The Music Video saying that Rosé, Jennie, and Lisa died and Jisoo tried saving them (You can see her running in the Music Video she tried going to save them) but couldn't then at the End Jisoo drowned herself to be with them again, and that is what you see at the End when they are all in the Pink Mustang they all are in Heaven hanging out, but you can look that up to see the whole thing when I heard about that Theory I was kind of Upset but also it makes a lot of sense!
Jennie: Was getting professional help because of her Toxic Relationship, her Boyfriend (I also wished he was a Girl too! 🤣) brought her Flowers to help but it didn't she freaked out and they got in a Car Wreck!
Lisa: Was in an Unrequited Love she gave up a lot for him and he didn't really do the same that's why you see her hammering his Car (I am not exactly sure about Lisa's Story) and her Boyfriend finally broke up with her so she couldn't take it anymore and jumped off the Roof!
Rosé: Was in an In - Denial Relationship they kept trying to have some of the same interests but it wasn't working so her Depression grew deeper so she decided to Drown herself in the Bathtub!
Jisoo: She wasn't in Relationship, she was devasted that her Friends were all gone but as you can see in the Flower Scene it shows that she is trying to stay Positive and you can also see that she was holding an Hour glass that looks like it was pouring out but it was going back in, this means she wanted to turn back time so she can save them all from the devastating ways they died, and you can also see near the end where they were having fun and throwing Food at each other those were some of her favorite Memories with them, so she couldn't take it anymore and decided to Drown herself in the Swimming Pool.
Again I am not sure if that is exactly correct you can go look it up (I think It was on Twitter or something I just heard about it) if you want to I hope this helps you out a little bit or at least kind of entertained you!

I can’t find the twitter user but I love their interpretation.
Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa have all passed due to their relationships with this guy. Jisoo is the only one not seen with the guy.
Jennie tried to get help for the relationship but it didn’t work. It ended with her arguing with the guy and getting in a wreck.. the guy survived somehow.
Lisa jumped from the roof they were on, because she couldn’t move on and accept it had ended.
Rosé drowned herself in the bathtub after painting the wall black (her and the guy had originally painted it pink) before she did this.
Jisooo eventually drowned herself in water (the scene with the rain and everything) and the last few shots are all memories of the four of them together.
Correct, they all killed themselves. Jisoo running was trying to get to them to save them. Yet she failed and has nothing so she killed herself. All the girls in the car all together again in heaven. Messed up M/V with a catchy song.
