Regarding the hitstun decay glitch, It seems that as long as you started a combo with a move that has multiple hitboxes overlaying one another (i.e. it would cause the combo hit counter to jump from 0 to something bigger than 1, skipping 1), hitstun decay would be removed and you'd be able to do infinite combos. She got some nerfs since the game released, but she still a very solid A-tier character, the reason why you don't see her in competitive tournaments is because she's "a worse kid boo", anyway let's hope in season 3 she gets some buffs so we can more 21 often

I wonder if ArcSys would return some of the Double Supers to all the low tier characters in the game for; season 3? Especially if their existing supers are considered weak as it is right now anyways! None of the strong characters need a buff, leave them as they are (Cell, Kid Buu, GT Goku, Bardock, A21, Gogeta, Base Goku) and simply buff the Mid and Low tiers. and allow the previous low tiers the double Supers? Along with the new assists coming in, this would lead to all new combo variations. And help the Low tiers apply all kinds of new pressures on the High tiers and OP characters in the game now. This opens up the game like never beforehand doesn't it?

This game was really at its peak towards the end of S1, from both a gameplay and competitive standard imo. I hope in S3 they try to go back to this kind of direction, instead of continuing it in the direction that S2 has put the game into.

I play android 21, cell and ssj goku since vanilla release day1 and it never gets boring to me even though i have over 10k matches with them 😁 i used to like the old a21 more but since i got used to the updated one im having way more fun doing her absorded combos cause they look way more stylish now. And cell ofc is the real og, his loops were the first thing i practiced on day1 and they still dont let me down when it comes to the business
@@YXiao As someone who got the Limited Edition of the game Day1, unlocked 21 through the Story Day1, and took her Online Day2 because I was too stupid to realize "There was DLC for her", I miss most of all of these things, though she still remains my mains to this day. Even if I am still trash at the game because I suck at 2D fighters overall.
They made up for Zamasu by making BoJ very accessible in S2. Also proper use of flight combos allow you to get air DR for SKD after DHC super. Beerus on the other hand... :/
I still don't get why they removed the bounce from Vegeta's divekick. Every other change understandable (if not always agreeable) but the divekick combos weren't particularly broken or anything.
The only thing that should be brought back is double supers. With new assist being available soon and new characters there’s so many different ways for every character to be able to do them and use them in unique combos

You can uninstall figherz and install from disc without an internet connection. Most games don't have the full version on disc or require a connection, but the season 1 vanilla patch is on the physical copies
I feel the vanilla cast have been well explored in combos. Some of the characters also didn't have good combo ability as of yet (like Ginyu's solo combo starter was a disaster and A18 couldn't even get 5H>214M in the corner). The things that left untouched were more like match techniques, or just to check if things we do in S2 could have been done in S1 (like IAD fuzzy).
