    That was a great review doing half shave dry and half wet. I'm using a dry rotary shaver for years and into getting a wet one, the summer here is moist and some days dry shaving is not an easy thing because my face start to sweat after been clean and dry, so this review which was not biased at all helped me see the differences between the two. Thank you both guys.

    I just bought one. It takes a very long time compared to a regular razor blade. Most likely going to return it. Can't beat the quickness and close shave with a razor

    • @averageguytested
      @averageguytested  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s true, but I will say that it takes your beard and skin some time to acclimate to an electric razor. If you haven’t gotten lots of irritation I’d give it a month to see.

    I have a Philips 5100. It was $80 at Target. Worth every penny! Philips is king of Electric shavers just like Gillette is king of the cartridges!

    very good explanation of both the wet and dry shave. I was thinking of getting this razor but wanted to see the quality of both shaves first. Well done!

    Hi! I just watched your Hydro 5 vs Hydro 3 video the other day and really liked it. You even responded very gracefully to my negative comments about Schick lol. I wasn't aware that Tony had you on as a guest shaver. How cool! Well, I just wanted to tell you that you're a great reviewer and I'm going to subscribe to your channel. Thanks a lot and have a terrific day!

    Could you help me?? I still get irritated while using this on the neck and jawline aérea, also when I try to pass it it feels kinda sticked in my face without using cream after cleaning my face

    • @averageguytested

      Lighter pressure and less passes. You have to give your beard a while to get accustomed to the shaver.

    Good Shave by Ally and facilitation by Tony. I do feel interested in electric shavers , also like the fact that using a shaving cream resulted in better shave on one side of the face. Kudos to both of you 👍

      Not at all. Infant I didn’t feel the need to use the Skin guard mode. Having said that, everyone’s skin is different & the skin might take upto 3 weeks of adjustment with a new product. Also I had a 90 day money back guarantee as well from Philips. Gave me more confidence.
