I was raised in the Mormon church and had to uphold the church standards and could only break free from the toxicity and shame when I could move out of my family’s home at 17. All of my extended family is extremely Mormon. it is frustrating to hear these girls claim that they’re Mormon and wanting to break the ”stigma” of what a members guidelines need to be. There is no stigma, you either are upholding the churches standards or you’re not. Either you believe it or you don’t. It is annoying to see so many people make up their own religion within the church. The church is very black-and-white. There’s no gray area. They should just not be Mormon and stop faking it so that they can be accepted by the Mormon community. It doesn’t make any sense.
I’m active LDS and haven’t ever had any issues with the Church, but I think “breaking the stigma” fights against this idea(that you’re alluding to) that you have to be perfect or not an active member. That’s absolutely not true and I do think that causes problems and mental health issues for people. So it makes sense that you can live in the grey area, but the girls on this show aren’t trying to live in the grey area, they’re going against the Church and laughing(annoyingly) about their outright opposition to doctrine. Idk why you would proudly flaunt things that are so immoral(according to traditions, most cultures and religions) like swinging. Theyre clearly doing it for shock value and using the quiet small religion to become famous, and pretending to be doing it for the good of women to excuse their choices.

These girls are such a nice little surprise! They are funny and kind and so intelligent - can't wait to see what happens with them!
I saw the trailer for, the secret lives of Mormon wives, is a threat to Bravo, if they continue to mess with real housewives casts, it will crash, and burn. Streaming is coming for bravo shows, we will lose, it’s frustrating.
Omg injust watched every episode and ITS EVERYTHING I KNEW IT WOULD BE!! Messy honest brutal & humbling and just really will surprise y’all how HONEST they all are 😮 I love it and Heather knew this would be a hottt one and YOU GOT THIS ONE CORRECT❤❤❤
I love this episode! They are so cute and sweet I can't wait to watch the show❤🎉
People leave and call it a cult for a reason!
Her laugh is sooo contagious 😳
What is this "Book of Mormon story play?" The Broadway musical? Who are these countless people it converted? Tell me 5.
Yeah, that sounds like propaganda from the church😅
HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉HAVE THE MOST BLESSED DAY. CAUSE YOU SURE MAKE MINE. ❤️
So did Jen meet her husband through a mutual or through a mormon dating app? 🤨
Love when the singing breaks out ❤😂
Our girl is working - all these tour dates!! I'm in the UK so can only live in hope :)
What a fun, fresh show ..
Great podcast, Heather!
On nick v’s podcast Jen said her husband did want to do the show & in this one she said he doesn’t ? Which one is it
It’s odd that they are so young but look so old. It’s got to be the work they get done at a young age before they have actually aged
I think Angelo want to run for an office in CA and Leah just doesn’t want to be associated with that for career reasons. Just my gut feeling on this
She said he cheated
@@BklynSJULeah said that? Well if so then a perfect political candidate 😂
Great show as always ❤
Heather, this show is going to be great, but I know what FAME CAN DO, after the first three seasons, I am sure we will see changes, even the Producers will start getting manipulative, they always do. The people and the show ,will change.Time will tell.
@@patriciajones6771 oh yes :( I agree 💯% .
What kind of changes?
@@patriciajones6771 jaded
..changes. I wonder how many of these girls will even be married in two years?
@@c.l.888 Friendships broken , marriages in trouble, faces changing, They or the show, will not remain the same, that's the one thing I have observed over the years watching Reality shows.Time will tell.
Yeah!!!! another great offering from Heather.
Great interview Heather can’t wait to watch this new show on Hulu ❤
Geez Heather!!! --
Your HAIR is BEYOND GORGEOUS today! What’s up? Cut & color?
Oh thank you! Maybe some real sun hit this weekend
@@JuicyScoop Great show today and bc you interviewed the Morman Moms duo, I’m going to signup for Hulu & watch tomorrow night. I liked the conversation you three had, and you got me intrigued to compare their show to the Bravo HW brand. Thanks!
Great as always! Jenny is awesome very well spoken and more open minded than expected. Perfect pick for trying to make these people relatable even if their religion isn’t.
I love how i jus saw a recent interview with one of the girls saying they did a 23 & me & theres absolutely NO RELATION to ben Affleck but lala kent is related to him! 😂😂😂😅 maybe on scheanas pod..lmfao! Not the last one standing cux there wasnt ever a standing..😮👀🤔💖🫶✌️
This was is so amazing😮. My daughter moved to Idaho from Boston and could not even get Dr appointments because there are secret words you have to say. When we were in a restaurant the waitress called us “sister”. So glad to show the world.
This is absolutely not true. There aren’t secret words to say, especially outside in the regular world with a doctor. She misunderstood.
If she heard someone call someone else sister it just means they go to the same church building and she was addressing her. There’s no secret words. lol
This was the BEST EPISODE! Can’t wait to watch the show
“Docking: dock it but don’t rock it” 😂😂😂
I really enjoyed this chat! I appreciate the girls being so open with their lives and the Mormon church. Much love from Australia Juicy Scoopers ♥️
Omg they’re literally the sweetest! Hope they come back as guests ❤
