i use to be on a bulking diet where part of it was eating up to 12 eggs a day. Ive felt nothing but greatness, I felt amazing and did it for 2 months straight. I actually went from 78kg to 81.5kg in 2 months. Only downside is that i got so sick and tired of eating eggs every single day 😅

@TJ P I dunno if he is or not but that kinda sounds like a recipe for disaster for your ldl cholesterol. I took fish oil almost everyday for a year to try and lower my triglycerides. Came back the following year and I had lowered my triglycerides but my ldl had risen almost 20 points since my last physical and I attributed it to it most likely being the fish oil (although OP said cod liver oil, maybe that's different I dunno) and with him saying he eats 6 whole eggs everyday, I dunno if that would be good for you in the long run? Everyone has got different genetics tho.

It's funny you talked about alcohol, and it destroying the muscle. So true! I drank like a fish on the weekends years ago. By Friday i was pumped up and vascular, but by Sunday all those gains were lost from Bing drinking. An older guy in the gym told us this would happen, we didn't believe him. I haven't drank in years now, and I'd like to say have fun once in a while but if you're serious about bodybuilding, you can not drink heavy for more than one night. My experience anyway.

I come from a family that was largely into sports such as rugby, American football and martial arts. Hence, I was introduced to weight training when I barely started primary school by my uncle and brother. Contrary to what is said, weight training does not stunt growth if you start early. I also did my best to emulate my brother's diet program (he was an aspiring bodybuilder at the time) when I started hitting the gym.

Eating eggs for me does not increase cholesterol at all. Last year before I started my diet and workout routine I was only eating maybe 2 to 4 eggs a week. My cholesterol was 241. I increased eggs to three to four a day, but I only eat duck eggs which are twice as large as a regular egg. That’s between 21 and 28 eggs a week. My cholesterol this year was 241. Exactly the same.

p.s Always been into training but the walking is the thread that holds my fitness together. Used to do it for 6 hrs a day when I was student but still do a couple of miles a day today (I am talking about real walking, large strides and brisk like you have purpose). If you do enough walking it becomes as difficult as sitting down at rest.

Owned a bar for decades, drank five nights a week and lifted weights. Now I've gone two years without drinking because my wife is sick and quit (so I quit in solidarity). Ive noticed that lack of alcohol has only helped me in that I'm never hungover when I lift. Didn't make any other difference whatsoever with my strength, size, or endurance. Back when I drank I told people it didn't hurt my lifts, now that I quit I was hoping I was wrong, but, at least for me, I wasn't.

The reason they throw away yolks is coz that much amount of fat even if it's good won't go well with a high carb diet. High carbs is the foundation to get big while High fat is for lean building or cutting. So it's all about one's priorities.

Its hard to give any advice without seeing what you look like & what your diet is. What is your goal? If your goal is to get bigger then dont worry about putting on some fat. If your training naturally its not possible to put on muscle without gaining some fat. After you get as big as you want - cut your calories & start training to get cut. You maybe taking in more calories, way more than you need. High intensity cardio couple times a week.100 meter sprints are best & activate type II fibers.

You also need Choline to move fat out of the liver cell and into the blood. The liver cell converts alcohol and fructose into fat and then needs Choline to move the fat out into the blood stream. Without enough Choline fat will build up and you get fatty liver.
