- Lamborghini Aventador fitted with full Capristo x-pipe including test pipes throwing some crazy ass flames on the dyno. The HP has been increased up to 739 with this exhaust system, awesome!

Well for starters the factory manifold is made of heavy ass cast iron that holds lots of heat and does not let the air and fuel flow good. Different length tubes and diameter will increase or decrease horsepower

How can changing exhaust system give more Hp? Isnt that just a bunch of tubes?
The short answer is; the engine breathes more efficiently.
Better exhausts allow for the gasses built up in the engine to exit more easily, this increased efficiency is where the car gains its horsepower.
However with your stereotypical chavved up/ricer cars, generally their engines are small, 3 or 4cyl, so there is no need for efficiency increases, bigger exhausts will just change sound in these cases.
If someone knows better, please correct me.
Elliot Ormston Add the fact that, with todays anti-pollution measures the exhaust are really "long" ( inside the catalyst) thus the gasses will take more time and "effort" to exit the exhaust.
Without this kind of exhaust, the engine will breathe easily and perform better.

What does 739 PS means?
+Lance Ian Michael Brofar Think of PS as a sort of metric horsepower. It's within about 2% of a horsepower too.
PS (Pferdestärken) is the german masurement, its roughly the same as HP

if that rating is PS then its only 729 HP not 739.. but who cares when you have over 700hp anyways! LOL!
still a nearly 40hp increase by just fitting a better exhaust system is still quite impressive! imagine what these engines are truly capable of with a serious re-tune and other power increasing internals!

where are the sparks coming from, unburned fuel is one thing...
It's a combination of unburned hydrocarbons and incredible heat. You don't need spark to ignite fuel. Just high heat.
