This is a fantastic video for anyone who's interested in woodwork to see! I've just got my gun licesnce and I'm using this video as a guide for customizing my first ever rifle, the result is spectacular.

Just like every other refinishing video, a non checkered gunstock is used. I wish just once someone would deal with checkering, instead of just saying a couple of quick words about it, usually "avoid it". But it won't match the new stain and looks like a two tobed hack job if you do.

    Very nice video!
What's the the procedure on a checkered gunstock?
    Thanks,
    Jorge

Awesome videos! Really like the step by step. I'm getting an old SMK B40 in the next few days and the stock needs work. I think I'm gonna try your products...

I'm thinking of doing my stock but I've put your wax on it . What's the easiest way to stripe the wax off please mate?

The oil has made the wood very dark. I believe it would've looked better if purified oil was used. Anyways.. I'm not a pro so I don't really know how this stuff works..

Hi nice videos. I piled my new gun stock a few days ago and it went sticky I didn't know what to do so have sanded it back. If I just rub more oil and wire wool on it does the tackynes really disappear that easily. Thanks
