the song is written by Rabindranath Tagore in Bengali language in 1905 when India, Pakistan, Bangladesh were one. song is a call to be ready to walk alone even when no one helps. the same dude who wrote India's national anthem. "Where am I gonna find the person

I keep roaming around all the places

    2:24 "Ekla cholo"
"If they pay no heed to your call walk on your own.
Walk alone, walk alone, walk alone, walk all alone.
If none speaks, o wretched one,
If all turn their face away and cower in silence-
    Then open out your heart
dear one, speak out your mind, voice alone.
If everyone spurns, o wretched one
If all leave you in the lurch in wilderness
Then trample the trail of thorns
With your blood stained feet alone, on your own.
If no one holds up a light, o wretched one
And bolts the doors in dark, stormy night
Then in the lightning fire of pain
Kindle your own heart and keep it burning bright alone."
    12:03 "Hashi mukh"
    "Sunshine has brighten your city
Light is hitting on your windows
    Joyous smiley known faces
    Keeps showing up everywhere
Let's get lost among all these
I walk along the road as you are counting on me.

    2. The language is Bangla. Spoken in both India and Bangladesh, as well as a large expat community across the world.
    3. The song is a Rabindrasangeet. It's a song written and composed by Rabindranath Thakur, the Nobel prize awardee poet laureate of India, who has composed the national anthems of India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. He is a Titan of Indian culture and one of the most prolific writers as well as educationists of the Indian renaissance of 19th century.

Bengali folk music and Bengali (ethnic or cultural) musicians contributed a lot to Bollywood Hindi/Urdu music industry. West Bengal in India& Bangladesh (prev East Bengal) are part of the overall larger Bengali speaking area...the influence comes from classical as well as folk. There are too many people from the Bangladesh region who migrated to India during partition, and they brought the local E Bengali folk as well. It's really hard to draw a line of demarcation to separate the two Bengals at least in terms of music. Arnab who is part of this Coke studio project, was a student at the Biswabharati university in W Bengal, India, he received his musical training there, but he is from Bangladesh....yes we are separated by border, but I enjoy music from both sides.

Thanks for all the appreciation, #Waleska & #Efra. 4.33sec the intrument you were wondering is called "Ektara". A music intrument with just a one string. Its a basic intrument for Baul (a significant folk form) singers. And yes, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh we all used to be one united nation before 1947. You will be suprised to know that the bengali language is considered to be the Most sweetest language in the world, announced by UNESCO. 4:36 that's a "ektara". That's the one, you guys saw at the first and asked, and, the boog boog kinda sound with which the video starts is also produced by this instrument.
It's a one string instrument mainly played by "Bauls", one the folk singers of bengal.
Now, here Bengal doesn't only mean Bengal of India, or Bangladesh. They both are same, they were a single Bengal before partition. A lot of the culture is similar in between the both Bengal, specially the cultural taste.
The second singer is Arnob. Man, you gotta listen to him! Please! I came here after you guys reaction on Nasek Nasek. You guys are damn knowledgeable! You guys get things, understand things so beautifully! I can imagine a talk over a coffee with you guys will be damn great! 🤩 Wish to have it one day!
I'm Sourish Pramanik from India. I'm doing my undergrad in Agricultural Sciences from Visva-Bharati University. Arnob Da ( "Da" is a calling, similar to "bro" but when bro is older than you in age) is from my school, Patha Bhavana, my very super senior. He is actually from Bangladesh. Our school and university, Visva-Bharati University was founded by the Noble laureate Rabindranath Tagore, who has written the national anthems of both India and Bangladesh, including the second song you hear in the video. Songs by Rabindranath are called "Rabindra Sangeet", I bet you, you listen to Arnob da's renditions of Rabindrasangeet, you would not even go anywhere to listen it by anyone else! This guy is super creative with his instruments and composition! Love him completely! He is also the curator of the first season of Coke studio bangla.
Animes Roy is an internt found. He has a channel on his name only, go check it out. He covers mainly folks of bengal and sings songs of his own too! This guy is one of a kind! You listen to him once and never stop!
Coke Studio Bangla has opened a bigger exposure to explore the vast amount of talent hidden in the forests, beaches, mountains of bengal!
Whose name should I leave to take! Boga da, the guy whose voice starts the video with, is also from my (and Arnob da's too) University, he is a student of the music department here. Man! His voice 🙏
More videos are awaited! Can't wait to get the taste of it all!
Felt like sharing my thoughts with you all! Well, have talked a lot in the flow! Sorry if I bored you!
Love to both of you guys! ❤️

If no one stands by you
    walk alone !
Ekla chalo, ekla chalo, ekla chalo, ekla chalo re.
walk alone ! walk alone ! walk alone !
Jadi keu katha na koy, ore ore o abhaga,
If they answer not to your call, O unlucky one,
    keu katha na koy
they answer not to your call
Jodi sabai thake mukh phiraye, sabai kore bhoy…
If they all cower mutely facing away from you in fear
    Tobe poraan khule
o tui mukh phute tor moner katha ekla balo re .
Then open your mind and heart and speak out alone.
Jodi sabai phire jaay, ore ore o abhaga
If they all turn away, O unlucky one,
    sabai phire jaay,
    they all turn away,
Jodi gahan pothe jabar kaale keu phire na chay..
If no one looks back (to see if you are keeping up and are still ok) while crossing the wilderness
    Tobe pother kaanta
O tui rakto makha charan tole ekla dalo re.
Then crush the thorns ( dangers) in your path under your own bleeding feet.
Jodi aalo na dhore, ore ore o abhaga,
If they do not hold up the light, O unlucky one
    Alo na dhore,
they do not hold up the light
Jodi jhor-badole aandhar rate duyar dey ghore..
If they shut their doors (not letting you in) when the night is troubled with storm
    Tobe bajranole
Apon buker panjar jwaliye niye ekla jwalo re.
Then with the thunder flame (of pain) ignite your own heart (ribs)
and burn alone.( Be the light for yourself and others)
    - 3rd song (Band- Shironamhin)
    Road the geche tomader nogorite
The sun is shining on your( the people/the audience/ your loved one/ god) city
Alo eshe theme geche tomader janalay
the has stopped at your windows
    anondo hashimukh chena chene shobkhane
happy, smiling faces, everywhere, and everywhere a sense of familiarity
eri majhe cholo mora hariye jai
Lets loose ourselves in this amtosphere
tumi cheye thako tai ami pothe hete jai
I keep walking along this path(of life) because you keep gazeing at me
jete jete bohudur, bohudur jete chai

The first song 'Ami kothay pabo taare' was actually composed by a folk singer named Gagan Harkara. Rabindranath Thakur took inspiration from this song and composed 'Amar Sonar Bangla', that's why these two songs have similar tune.
