In a way Byul is like Amber from F(x). Both of them auditioned to be singers but their companies kind of moved them to become rappers. Even though both do a great job as a rapper (Byul is one of the best in Kpop), I always think her heart is in singing.

As an old guy from the US I watch these performances, listen to the music and have no idea about the lyrics. But the actions and the emotions of the performer are all anyone needs to enjoy this. This young lady put her heart and soul into this stellar performance and she did a wonderful job. She hit the high notes as expected and she is a very powerful singer and when she belts something out she reminds me of Halsey over here. Moonbyul is simply the best of all worlds.

It is the music, the emotions and the feelinggs and connections that you have with the artist. Theree is nothing even close available here in the us. And i have migrated to SoHyang TV and seen an entirely different side of real Korean music and it is unbelievable to say the least.

It's a crime she didn't get much of a chance to show her singing ability in Mamamoo, she is an excellent rapper, but I feel offended that I never heard her sing like this. She surely should get the opportunity to shine as a vocalist too, considering what we just witnessed.

She's a great vocalist, this gave me goosebumps.
I'm kinda new to mamamoo and I've been thinking that moonbyul should be able to sing along with the other girlies when belting their hearts out bc her tone is just so rich and she can effortlessly blend in high HIGH harmonies so I couldn't resist and looked up "moonbyul singing", I also found out she trained under SM... GAGGED bc it's common knowledge that anyones been trained under SM does reach their vocal potential and they always train singers to develop their voice and not point them into a specific mold.
