Unless mojang changed it, it shouldn't be possible to get 11 diamond ore blocks in a single ore spawn clump, meaning she got 2 or 3 spawns right next to eachother and touching across chunk borders. That really is quite the crazy luck to find.

Aight, because of the 1.18 cave update, ore generation isn’t chunk dependent anymore, so yes there isn’t much a limit on how many diamond ore veins can clump together. It’s a matter of how lucky you are now. *They also just buffed how many diamonds can generate in an ore vein by 40% in 1.20.2 :)
