I had the same thing happen to me when I shipped a package from the US to Canada. I was very lucky in that the main cards were not damaged.

It's a first for me, I've had packages get damaged with the card being OK, but not this time....it literally looks like someone drove a nail through the package...start using some of those empty metal retail tins to ship the big ones in from now on.

@@standing0 Yup, in my case it was also something sharp that was driven through it. When I brought the matter up with my local PO, they said it was probably dropped. I said a drop would not cause that kind of damage.
